@@ikrugani Using it since like 2 months. The battery is cool for sure, the bluetooth range could be a little bit better, but overall it's a worth purchase.
Speaking as an owner of the cloud 3s Between the cloud 3s and the blackshark v2 pro, I found them to be super loud in comparison, though depending on the game one headset sounded more immersive than the other. In COD, both sounded pretty immersive, but I think because the cloud 3s are louder they seemed more immersive, not sure if it was actually more immersive with detail etc. I don’t care about the hissing noise in the black sharks, they’re pretty subtle honestly I think most people make too big of a deal out of it. One interesting thing in COD on the clouds, 😅suppressed weapons are noticeably more trebly and have almost a ping to them, whereas the black sharks just make them sound thuddy. Because they’re so different it’s hard to tell what’s true to sound and what’s not..
Hi! I have watched so many different headset reviews and I must say that your videos are the most nuanced and precise reviews I have seen so far. Thanks for your work! If you had to choose between Alpha and Cloud 3 Wireless as a casual gamer who likes to listen to music and watch videos, which one would you choose?
thanks for this comment! i was about to buy the cloud III's for the eq in the software, but now that I can eq the clud II's I am def saving that extra $20! Thank YOu !
Hi, I'd like to ask you.I need to choose some gaming headphones for CS 2 and for story games.I need a good microphone and sound for the steps.I've already figured it out that the microphone in Cloud 3 is pretty good, but I'm not sure about the sound quality and steps yet.I myself have previously played on AirPods Pro the first version via Bluetooth.
I don't have the AirPods Pro so I can't compare to those specifically. Not sure if you've heard these other headphones, but the Cloud III isn't as good as the Sony XM4 or XM5. It's closer to the Beats Studio 3 but with significantly less bass. Overall it's top notch for FPS footsteps, but falls short for story games unless you apply a lot of EQ (or don't like much bass).
@@BadIntentStreamTechReviews I've seen these variations from Sony, but my budget is not that big - $100.I see HyperX as the most optimal headset, if there is something better, please advise))
Im in the market for a new headphone and im probably gonna grab a hyperx cloud 3. Have very good experience with hyperx so far , had to rma a mic and it was very painless and fast process.
Hi love your reviews. Had the cloud 2s for years and want to get the 3s as an upgrade. Im really sad to see they've reduced the bass by default, because damn i love bass. Can you bring the bass up to cloud 2 levels via eq software?. Like im talking i have my cloud 2s with eq bass + 8. Lol
Are the Cloud III wireless identical in sound profile to the Cloud III wired? I have seen conflicting information and I know that the USB DAC thing that the wired ones come with changes the sound. Does the wireless one with no EQ sound like the wired one with no EQ when directly plugged in via just the 3.5mm jack? One video said they sound significantly different with the wireless sounding much better (I believe they specifically claimed they sound much fuller/bassier), but RTINGS' analysis shows pretty similar profiles for both. Since you made that video disproving the hyperbole about HP's revision of the Cloud IIs supposedly ruining them, I was hoping you could compare both versions of the Cloud III because I would prefer a wired one but I don't want compromised sound.
Yeah you might be referring to what Techne said. Personally, I've heard no difference between wireless with no EQ and wired 3.5 mm except that the wireless has a small amount of white noise always present. It's almost inaudible, but it's there. I went back and forth between the two for a few days and they're the same from what I can hear.
@@BadIntentStreamTechReviews Awesome. Maybe he got a busted pair? I’ve heard bad things about Ngenuity from pretty much every video ever so I won’t even install it. Maybe he borked the sound profile with some bug related to the software or just got a bad pair. RTINGS indicated small differences but nothing outside of normal unit-to-unit variation I would imagine.
@@c-samleystudios1573 Yeah I'm not sure. But I do agree with everyone who dislikes NGENUITY. It has potential but it's extremely buggy, so I just use SteelSeries Sonar instead.
I've had a wired Cloud II for about 3/4 years. I'm wanting to go wireless: would I go with cloud III, cloud II or cloud II core? I saw a lot of people saying that this even the core is better than this cloud III. FPS game… remembering that the cloud iii has dropped in price and is almost the same
Hi! Thank you for a straight to the point review. Im looking to replace my hyperX cloud flight wireless headset. How would you say the hyperx cloud 3 wireless compares in sound/comfort? Thanks in advance!
great short review but I have a question what about watching movies/shows? which one sounds better in your opinion. I have cloud 2 wired but I want to get a wireless headset but I'm not sure which wireless headset should I get
Nah, I used it for a few videos, but the autofocus isn't quite good enough and I needed something I can use without a computer. My main camera is the Sony ZV-1.
@@BadIntentStreamTechReviews I got you, because of you I found out about the Kiyo pro firmeware update thx for that btw. You're in my opinion the best webcam reviewer btw so, keep it up
Why would you prefer the nova 7 over the cloud 3? I just bought both of the wireless ones and I’m going to try them out soon, only downside I think about the the Nova 7 is that it swivels
Hi badintent! for Valorant FPS gaming n comfort which one u would recommend to me the Alpha S or the cloud 3 or cloud 2 i would appreciate it ty sm 🙇♀️
Hey! I'm looking for a wireless headset and I've tried the black V2 pro 2023 but it had A LOT of white noise sadly, so now i'm wondering what is better, the Corsair HS80 Max or the Hyper X Wireless 3? or any other brand ? my budget limit would be 400€ max thanks a lot
@@BadIntentStreamTechReviews Thanks for the speedy response! I like your review and i didnt buy the cloud 2 because you bring out the issues. Thanks and will get the cloud 3 wired
Hi i wanted to ask. Should i get the cloud 3 wireless for 160,07 $ or cloud 2 wireless for 149,92 $. I care for immersion in games and for good bass. so i dont know if the cloud 2 would be better for me. but the cloud 3 are more comfortable have better mic, battery etc. I just dont know. so i wanted to ask your opinion
I have the Cloud 2 wireless and with no cup swivel is a deal breaker, the cups dont properly seal and too much pressure is placed on the front of my ears.
Bonjour, avant sur la version filaire on pouvait choisir sur le boîtier entre version audio 7.1 ou non, sur le version sans fil la version audio 7.1 est automatiquement appliquée ?
What is your opinion about wireless headsets in terms of negative health effects? I'm unsure because there doesn't seem to be any clear evidence. whether bad or not.
Bro, if you are using a smartphone, WLAN at home, wireless mouse, wireless keyboard ....then you should not care. If you care for radiation then stop using any device :)
@@ZebSound I think there is a difference whether you have a smartphone in your pocket for a few hours or something that emits radiation just a few centimeters from your brain for several hours a day
I was going to buy cloud 3 wireles for 5000 TL, but the stock ran out and I bought cloud 2 wireles at a discount for 2500 TL. Do you think there is much difference between them? Do you think I should return it and buy cloud 3 wireles by paying 2500 TL?
which do you recommend for the cloud iii, the wired one or the wireless one? did the sound or build quality any different? i use it specifically for gaming
Sound and build are the same. Mic seemed slightly worse on the wireless, but I didn't compare the two extensively enough. If wireless is important, of course get that version, but I don't personally think it's worth the extra $60.
@meharking8278 I have a wireless version, and I will be honest, the sound is good, not excellent. The surround sound is not convincing, and I did not use it because it causes noise. As for the microphone, it is indisputably excellent.
@@BadIntentStreamTechReviews Are you thinking the quality gap between the Cloud 3 wired and wireless has been closed significantly more than compared to the Cloud 2 wired and wireless?
@@mrjamesinblogington yeah, they're almost the same now. The Cloud III Wireless mic is very slightly worse and the static sound in the headphones is almost completely gone.
Nova Pro Wireless has better headphone audio, but the comfort and mic of the Cloud 3 wireless is better. I think either get the Cloud 3 Wireless or go all the way and get the Audeze Maxwell. Nova Pro Wireless isn't worth the money imo.
I see a lot of people do not praise cloud 3 I have not tried it, but I want to buy it. What is your advice? Is the sound surround and strong in FPS games?

If you want the best of the best headphone audio, then the Audeze Maxwell. I think the Cloud III Wireless is better than the HS80, but I don't have the HS80 Max yet.
