For me Yeezy's are still hot because I can't afford resell, so when I copped the breds for retail (my first pair of yeezy's) it was special and in my town you don't see anyone with them. But if you can afford to pay resell and get any shoe you want then the hype isn't there for you and it's no longer special
Danny agreed. I always go for retail or less and I don't even see how the Yeezy hype is dying. Even with the Cream whites that are the most stocked pairs people still went crazy and I know lots of people who still couldn't cop that want their first pair. I have a good eye spotting fakes and my city is majority by Nike/Jordan so it's nice seeing Adidas imo.
Adidas is still Poppin' right now and will continue in the near and far future. Boost technology changed the game. Once you try on a pair, you cant go back to nike or jordan. Everyone still wants at least a piece of clothing item as Adidas, whereas the shoe line is innovative and creative. Sure they oversaturated the market with Nmds and Ultraboosts, but they also come out with new lines such as iniki and eqt support. The hype is still the brand with the 3 stripes bruh.
I feel like the shoe culture is falling off. Adidas is falling cause they over saturating the market and Nike isnt doing it anymore. Even Jordan brand and Yeezys are losing their values. Hence the future of shoes? BIG BALLER BRAND😂😂😂

To add to the debate honestly lots of people get the shoe because of the design. I mean there is something so unique about a yeezy. That's what's gonna keep them hot.
yeah, here in south texas i still see more people wearing nike, nike sb and retro jordan's; especially the air presto, air max 1 and jonoski's. and when it comes to adidas it's usually NMD's and gazelle's that people wear here. gazelle is perfect for skateboarding though.
Before even watching I can tell you yes they are forsure worth buying for retail. And as long as resell isn't crazy (1400 for zebras that restocking anyways) then cop if you can afford it. I paid resel for my Oreos and breds but bought them both when resell was below 500. Now resell above 550+ on stock x at that price point I would recommend waiting for the next one to drop. It is just a shoe afterall and if you pay too much you might not even wana wear em 🤷♂️
