I honestly just can’t with that guy. It absolutely boggles my mind how ANY of those woman put up with him for as long as they did. His condescending, know-it-all attitude on EVERYTHING would have driven me insane…and most likely to violence 😂😂

Now let's do a comparison of Truelys birth and Solomans birth...how supportive was Kody of Christine...oh...he wasn't...he was making out w Robyn while Truly was crowning

He is performing, he doesn’t actually care, he’s acting like he cares. Not only that but he’s acting like he knows everything about everything all the time, including birthing a baby. I don’t know if this is just his “cameras are on” personality or if he’s truly a psychopath. He thinks he’s smarter than everyone else and he thinks he’s got everyone duped into believing how awesome he is. This guy’s ego is 🤮. He’s so condescending to her! 🤮 🤮

I decided to do natural childbirth with no drugs which was one of the dumbest decisions I ever made. My husband kept telling me to breathe and hold it up the postcard of my happy place and I kept motioning him to come closer to me so I could strangle him but he wouldn't😂

What parent with 18 kids things 99.8 is a fever and death like experience.

Only a man thinks controlled breathing will offset the pain of childbirth. Smh

What I find interesting is, Robyn had both babies with hardly a whimper.. But, with COVID, when she needed no oxygen...she was able to make a video.... Had a small Hospital bag, then sent home. She said once that she was "wasting away'', and another time said, "I was near death". Kody was crying about missing Aurora for 10 days. My husband got COVID, and because of my Cardiomyopathy, he wouldn't let me do anything for him. I had to stay in our Sunroom, which has a refrigerator, Kitchen, and full Bathroom. He was sick for four days, and once he tested negative on our Home Kits, in three more days...he went to work! He said that the first two days, were the worst, as it felt like a bad case of flu. This is a man, who wrenched his back, and had me running the entire time. Anything else, he never complains. And Kody would have been escorted, with her mother and stepfather , out of the room. The Midwife's face said alot. And Jenny,...you are much better than I am, concerning Robyn, who had three kids, but never thought to tell Kody, that he needed to get his butt to The Hospital, when Christine's water broke. In fact, he never should have left her. jmo My cloak is now back on😏

Leave it to Kody to tell a women with three kids how to have a baby.

I was a labor and delivery nurse for 9 years. Relax and breathe to allow the head to settle into the pelvis will help while you are laboring. When its time to push you should keep your breath in and push, this is the time for silence. If you scream at this point the internal pressure is not there to move the baby. That being said crying out is a natural response to pain. Especially as the head crowns, no woman in pain should need anymore expectations placed on her.

I'm yelling "shut the F up Kody!" I had very little to no control during natural birth as the nurses were telling me to push or not push. Fun fact, Scientology touts a "silent birth" also as they believe and words the baby hears at this time will stick in their minds their whole life and have influence on them.

After seeing this I always thought Christine had a more peaceful labor because Kody wasn’t there the whole time, lol, and with the staff he wasn’t able to be the center of attention because they kept the focus on her.

It's insane how poorly he's coaching her. He is stressing ME out just watching this. Did he ever consider she's already done this 3 times without him. I'm no fan of Robyn but I feel bad that she was told such crazy things by her mom re childbirth. Plus her mom & step-dad are sitting right there to make sure she "acts properly" while trying to bring a new human into the world. What a horrible experience for Robyn.

I loved the snark today. Does anyone remember how annoying Kody was during Madison's birth? He was imparting his birth-coaching wisdom on to Caleb and was quite frustrated that Caleb didn't give him the deference he deserved. Robyn did great!!

I litterally dont know how these ladies dont laugh hysterically when he starts his crap. I watch channels and when they show his latest tantrum. I cant believe a 50 something is acting this way. Sheesh. I would be on the floor unable to breathe and saying something like. Do it again.

😄What a doofus! I would have thrown him out of the room. Like Jenny, I turn inward when dealing with that level of pain. I didn't want anyone talking to me, let alone touching me, as it broke my concentration. I chose no pain meds, because I felt that was best for the babies, but one nurse kept coming in and asking me if I was sure I didn't want the pain meds. I told her, through gritted teeth, to get the hell out of my room. I hate to imagine what would have happened if I my labor coach had tried micromanaging every contraction like Kody! I did apologize to the nurse afterwards, she was very gracious and said that she'd seen worse 😳!

Robyn is in full makeup during labor, really ! And to not make a sound as she births a baby is psychotic.

Everyone has to exhale. If she does not exhale she will pass out.

Kody is a narcissist so he has no real empathy for others, including Robyn. Could you imagine Kody passing a kidney stone? I don’t even think he could handle being constipated. And when he had COVID he acted like he was dying and he wasn’t even sick enough to get admitted to the hospital.

What I remember about Lamaze class is that the breathing is to help you attempt to relax as much as you can because tensing would make the pain worse. Also, the less noise you make when you push, the more productive the push is, thus requiring fewer pushes. That being said, everyone is different, and we can’t always control our pain response. However, everyone present needs to be kind and empathetic to the person in labor. Acting like a gym teacher is not ok.

Excellent point! I’ve watched a ton of Call the Midwife. I’m sure that makes me a midwife. I can also solve crimes, perform a surgery, and renovate a whole house. Cause I’ve seen it done on tv.

This big baby…..I had a steady temp of 103 for 6 days straight and when my throat started sucking IN when I would try to breathe, I finally went to the ER, admitted for 5 days 🥴 He is such a Drama Princess 🤪

Ive never had a baby. However if I was Sobin Robyn .I would tell KoVid Kody to zip his lips🤐. But of course that wouldn't be good for TLC TV.

I had no idea. My mom was mentally ill and an alcoholic. I screamed my head off with the first because she told me it was like pooping out a watermelon. The fear 😰. The second I did the breathing and it was much easier.

A fever is not 98 now for a baby its 101 or it was for my kids who needed their spleens out , when Kody says that he looks as clueless as he really is and he wasnt vaxxed so yes Kody your death like experience was your own fault, even tho you were fine and when Janelle got Covid with her whole family you did nothing.

Remember Ysabel. Keep sweet and breath and promise never to get surgery and do all these exercises and wear the painful brace until you are old enough to pay for the surgery yourself. He was not at Christine’s when Ysabel awake or he is really a blank father seeing her through that and not getting her surgery in Vegas. OMG.

Love, love the snarky-ism! Totally made my day! The military deployed my ex 2 weeks before I gave birth, let him come home, but he fell asleep on the train and had to wait 3 hours for the next one...my mom was with me telling me to say all the cuss words. (I gave birth in a German hospital)

My best friends husband died of COVID and she watched him take his last breath on Skype!!!!! Kody acted like he and Sobbing were dying 😡😡😡😡

In the middle of a contraction, while getting an epidural, I cussed, and my husband came in and told me to watch my language. If I could have reached him, he'd have been unconscious for the birth

I'm absolutely not saying that was a recreation (because I do not want want to diminish another person's birth experience), BUT my first, initial, organic reaction to that scene was "This is a recreation!!!" 😂😂😂

A woman is designed to push a baby out. That is the line from Robyn that made me hate her. I never had a baby. I adopted. It does not matter how the baby comes out. It’s natural for the baby to come and mom and baby both live through it. There is no badge of honor whether c section or vaginal or vaginal after c section or having a doctor there or not. None of that is really in anyone’s control. You just do you best to get the baby out alive and mom fine. Seemed like shade toward Christine. This was alls the first indication they were excessively alternative medicines with the horse incident at least grandma was a nurse. This do it yourself healthcare started with advocating for labor and delivery your way and then turned into pandemic expert and scoliosis expert. To the detriment of poor Ysabel.

I have given birth 5 times. There’s no way I would’ve been able to put up with Kody. He was making things so much worse! The last thing we need is someone bossing us around! I would’ve kicked them all out of the room except for the professional lady. (ladies?)

Telling someone to relax has never helped anyone relax. How hard is it to tell her she is doing well and to keep going. Telling her she can do it. Don't talk to her like she is a child having a tantrum. He is scolding her when he should be uplifting her. She is giving birth to his child. She isn't screaming she looks to me like she is actually doing very well. I don't like Robyn but clearly she is in pain and she is handling it well. Funny thing about empathy is you don't have to like someone to not want them to be in pain and to see that they are. If this doesn't prove he is a narcissist then nothing will. His favourite wife is bringing a life into the world and he is trying to remain in control. Take credit for being assertive and just making the whole thing more difficult for her. He really thinks he knows best. He thinks he could do it better.

It this is coming for. A man that can’t handle being sick. According to his wives he acts like a baby when he is sick I wish Robyn’s parents just left the room I would have told all 3 of them to leave the damn room and leave me alone

This is the experience Christine told Robyn not to cheat herself out off, a home birth with coach Kody!! 😆 The only reason he’s incessantly telling her to breathe is because that’s the only thing he knows about birth coaching. He wants the accolades for being such a stellar helper, so he’s repeating the only thing he knows. 😄

When my daughter was giving birth, the nurses told us for her not to scream because she’s wasting good breath. If you blow hard through your lips, pierced your lips and blow hard the push is much more effective. At least that’s what we were told by one of the head nurses when my daughter had her child. And it seemed to be true. Her pushes without screaming and piercing through her lips worked much better. But I’m not an expert so I’m only going by what I experienced was the nurse told us.

I had five natural births and I’m a quiet one, what I didn’t have was a gallery of people watching. Let alone a TV camera and crew! Robin wanted to be a star. This is what you get Kody performing his father of the year production of childbirth!

They’ve done so many birth scenes on the show I have to look away. I really don’t want to see this. I’ve given birth twice, I’d rather forget about the whole experience. Experienced more pain than I thought humanly possible. It’s so personal, kind of gross to televise it.

I fully believe Kody has adhd. I was a special education teacher and I also have adhd. While a whole lot of people still do really well in school despite having adhd because they can mask it, Kody is not one of those people. He’s not very bright to begin with and the adhd is a real struggle for him. I don’t find it surprising that Kody went to Lamaze class, likely more than once, yet he retained nothing. Nothing. There nothing wrong with being loud in childbirth. The idea that some person who has never given birth can expect a quiet birth…completely unreasonable.
