I'm so happy for Sidon in this. None of the other 'next gen' characters really had a strong connection to the champions personally, but for Sidon, it was his sister. I'm so glad he gets a happy ending in this game and got to save Mipha.

To think that’s how the Champions went down in the original timeline is just too heartbreaking. Dying, alone, in their divine beasts and being stuck there for the next 100 years. Mipha, closing her eyes and accepting her fate just hurts me.

The funniest part is when Zelda and Urbosa are have an emotional moment while link is cramming his face full with food

This is the literal definition of a fan fiction Zelda AU, and I am all for it. I really enjoyed this alternate take on Breath of the Wild’s story.

yoooo i know he’s technically “overrated”, but Link is just AMAZING. seriously. i love his entire design. he’s mute, he’s loyal, he’s beautiful, and you can tell what he’s thinking by his expressions. believe it or not, no matter how apathetic he tries to be, he’s very very expressive.

Love how this story actually gets expanded upon with Tears of the Kingdom. I always thought it was weird how Zelda somehow accidentally created a time machine when she was just a little kid. But now that Tears of the Kingdom has come out, it's revealed that Zelda doesn't just have the power of the light, she also has the power of time. So in the intro cutscene, when Zelda's power awakens and activates the tiny guardian, the guardian has the ability to travel through time because Zelda's powers infused it with that ability. It's a nice detail especially if it was intentional.

Can we all agree that link's a badass for taking on and holding his own against all four powered up blight ganons?

This is the only cutscene "movie" I've ever watched that actually felt like a movie, like the Zelda movie I've always wanted.

THIS WAS AMAZING!!! It's like a BotW movie! The voice acting is so much better and Kohga and Astor have amazing voice actors. Also, Kohga is hilarious! I love how every character is fleshed out. Mipha no longer seems like a one-note character and Link has an actual personality! Also, seeing the future heroes meeting the champions was so awesome and beautiful! Sidon and Mipha especially was so heartwarming. Personally, I like how we got to see some of the actual events and a good, alternate ending. Also, Sooga is fantastic and Hestu being fully voiced is something I didn't know I needed. King Rhoam actually has depth which is nice. The egg dude is also very cute. Seeing the armies all together is amazing too.

Can we all agree that Urbosa is absolutely badass and wholesome, Revali's fight scene is amazing, Kohga and Sooga are the best duo, Mipha and Sidon deserve the world, the music is amazing, the voice acting has improved, we love Link for his personality, and we would die for Zelda and Terrako?

I really liked how in both Breath of the Wild and Age of Calamity, both Link and Zelda play a key role in defeating Calamity Ganon. Most heroic stories have just the guy with the weapon do all the work, but I like how the Zelda series gives both a prominent part

It took me 2 years to finally watch this in full. That was absolutely AWESOME!! Also, what this effectively did was create ANOTHER timeline split, much like Ocarina of Time did. This ensures that the Legend of Zelda continues. This is one of those KEY moments in the franchise as a whole.

** Spoilers below for Tears of the Kingdom and pretty late in this video ** I feel like with Tears of the Kingdom showing that Zelda has time powers it makes Age of Calamity make more sense. The reason Terrako can time travel is because Zelda probably imbued them with her time power as a child without ever realizing it. This also explains why that power is only activated once Zelda unlocks her light abilities in the original time line. Since both powers are hers, it doesn't fully activate within Terrako until Zelda develops the ability to consciously activate one of them herself.

This is my take: Terrako is meant to represent the players who completed Breath of the Wild. They know the ruin that happened, and so they want to do whatever it takes to alter history, even summoning allies from the future to ensure a happy ending for the Champions.

I've never heard someone say "You are precious to me" in such a matter-of-fact way, no questions asked, I absolutely adore Urbosa

In my opinion Zelda Hyrule Warriors is one the most underrated Zelda games.

Honestly I wish a “true ending” was a option. After the kings “death” you can do the future champion missions or you can fight at the castle, in a battle against the calamity that’s impossible, and it ends with what really happened. The alternate timeline was cool. But I wish we actually saw the Calamity

Ironic how everyone thought it was gonna end badly, but it ended out having a good ending. ( also, seeing Mipha and Sidon together really put a smile on my face 🥺🤧😭)

Terrako is simply the cutest, and he really gave his all for zelda, that's how loyal he is. And his theme song is the cute and small. I just want to own the game to have all the cutscenes in the future, I only have botw and I'm waiting for botw 2. I'm really happy I got into zelda this year
