Thank you so much for watching!
This is a sensitive subject for many women who have to go through with this surgery. Just wanted to document my journey and shed some light on my experience.

I had a hysterectomy when I was 10 years older than you with no children, which was so hard. I had 20 fibroids the largest was the size of a 4 month pregnancy and I was like you enough was enough with the pain and heavy periods. I camped out on the couch which was way easier. Now I am happy I went through it, quality of life way better. I hope your surgery goes well .

Thank you so much for sharing your story! This really helps. Though each journey is different I feel that some of the pain we endure is similar. Like you, I also decided to share my journey which is a journey of trying to conceive which has come with so many twists and turns. Please keep sharing to help others. Be blessed! ❤

Just found your page today! I am 52 and had a robotic hysterectomy last year in August. I am glad I stopped the bleeding, but my body had some different symptoms the following months. I will keep watching to see if you may have any similar symptoms.

I’m having mine done next month. I’m not the least bit nervous. Not right now anyway. If anything I’d say I’m just ready for this to be over and done with. I’ve had heavy cycles for as long as I can remember. I too have fibroids. Two rather large ones. I also have an anterior titled uterus, a shorter than normal cervix that is also slightly twisted and possible adenomyosis. According to my OB, I should’ve had this done probably 10-15 years ago. And I’m 41. He’s basically saying this should’ve been done in my 20’s. But that’s our healthcare system for you.

I had a complete hysterectomy last year February 2021 I experience everything you just said so I know how you feel and there is hope,I’m doing well I didn’t have any complications doing or after thank God I had pain but my meds helped with that,I was off the full 8wks because you will need it it was mentally and physically hard but you will get through it looking at those RU-vid groups which I agree will scare the hell out of you so I stop watching if it wasn’t positive I put my trust completely in God knowing that he had me,I documented some of my journey if you are interested my youtube channel is called Simply Michelle it might help you some but be encouraged take it easy don’t try to be super woman and let your family help you I feel so much better I feel like me again.I’m praying for you for complete healing 💜🙏🏽

Hi everyone, Can anyone provide insight on their experience with general anesthesia or was the easiest part of the surgery?
@DesireeNicole
@DesireeNicole Год назад
I don’t even remember getting anesthesia. They give you medicine to make you “loopy” beforehand and so you have no recollection of it. Some people have reactions (the shakes, nausea, etc) but I personally had no issue with it. Came out just fine. Hope that helps.
