Check out my 1-year update to see how I'm doing now ! • MUST WATCH! Laparoscop... this process is certainly a journey full of ups and downs and I promise to document as much as I can along the way. thank you for your support!
I had my complete hysterectomy 5 days ago. Dr thought I had cancer but none was found. Praise Jesus. I’m in great shape and the pain has t been as bad as I thought I took a half mile walk today. I will probably go further tomorrow. Imma runner so hope to be back up within the next few days. Very good advice. I did get a mani pedi before surgery and had great support.
Thank you for sharing your journey! My surgery is in 4 days and I’m terrified. Watching your videos has me more at ease and I’m ready to get this done and over with. So glad your recovery is going so well!! 🥰 thank you again!!
I am completely terrified but i have zero chances of getting rid of these fibroids except surgery. I have been suffering for years with anemia. Your video is 1000 percent comforting. Hopefully it will be over soon 🤞. Thank You for being a bright light in a dark space.
Boss lady you are going to feel like a new woman after that 1st week or so! I'm praying for protection over you and all those in the operating room. May they be focused and precise! It is already done, in Jesus name. God bless you beautiful ❤️
If you haven’t already, find a good doctor(can’t stress that part enough)and go for it! I’m 3 weeks post op and I can finally see light at the end of the long dark tunnel. lol. I was miserable for years! Severely low iron and constant periods along with trying to raise 3 kids wasn’t easy. My children suffered due to me not having a hysterectomy sooner. I was so weak and sick. Heart palpitations and all. Go for it. I already feel better. If your iron is low, take iron now, consistently. That will help you feel better until you decide to take the leap! Good luck! You got this!
Thank you so much. I needed this. I have surgery next month and I’ve over researched and have gotten terrified. Your video made me feel so much better.
Good golly girl! 2 lbs!? Mine was just under a lb and I seriously was so weak and sick all the time. It was awful. So I can only imagine how bad you felt. My iron was low for years and years. I should’ve done this forever ago. I do suggest anyone who is having a lot of health problems due to constant periods, have this surgery! It is a major surgery and there can be complications but they’re pretty rare. Just make certain you have a good doctor and go for it! I’m so glad I did and I’m 3 weeks post op.
Thank you for sharing your experience. I am having a hysterectomy in two weeks and I am so anxious about getting the surgery. Your video has calm me down and made me feel confident that everything is going to be fine.
You are very welcome! Just as you said, everything is going to be just fine. Remember, you can do all things through Christ who gives you strength. I will be praying for you my friend ❤️
I’m on week 4 of recovery and didn’t need any pain meds from the very first day of surgery. On week two, I did take some advil as needed. Each person has to see how they feel.
Thank you so much Stacey your words are so encouraging and you are an encouragement for me, I am actually gonna have hysterectomy soon so didn't know what to ask my Dr. But your video was quite helpful thanks much for sharing dear🙏🏻God bless you sweetheart, 🤗❤️
It's my pleasure! I'm so glad that this video encouraged you and that you feel prepared to ask your doctor the right questions. I will be making a one-year video in the next week or so, talking about the importance of understanding hormones and how it will affect you after surgery. God bless 🙏🏾❤️!
Omg I totally watched the vaginal hysterectomy video 🤢 I love surgery videos, curious mind. That was hard. I go in in about a month. I’m not feeling scared, more anxious, like how am I going to deal with life stuff n be down. Thank you for this video. It was very comforting ❤
Thank you for the comment friend! I am so glad that you are not worried about your surgery. I'm sure everything will be fine! I'll be posting a one-year update soon. Blessings 🙏🏾
It’s the prayer and preparation for me! Praise God for healing and health! (Also- the nail color is an issue because they monitor your nail beds to ensure oxygen levels and blood flow/return is good-the darker colors can prevent proper monitoring and can make it difficult to determine if there is an issue or if there is pigment from polish 💅)
Hi! I am new to your channel, thank you for the positive feedback on your surgery. I really needed it, my surgery is scheduled on October 25, and I am so nervous and scared 😞😭
Thank you for subscribing to the channel! I'm glad the info was helpful, don't worry everything will be just fine. Preparation is the name of the game, what you do after surgery is the most important part. Be sure to take it easy and have people around that can help you. May the spirit of God be with you and protect you in Jesus name, amen!
How long did it take for you to have your first BM? I’m on day 4 and haven’t had a BM. I’m on miralax daily, colace twice a day high fiber lots of water and walking lol idk what’s going on
Hey thanks for the comment. It took a few days from what I remember. But that's pretty normal. Try smooth move tea.. you can pick it up at any local grocery store. I started taking it at night and I had movement the next morning
Sure. I had a great experience with general anesthesia. A few days leading up to surgery I started eating mostly soft foods and I didn't drink anything 12 hours before surgery although the recommended time was 8. I just wanted to make sure my body was free of any fluid. I also asked for nausea medication prior to the surgery and they ended up giving me a patch to wear on my neck. They also gave me medication for nausea as soon as I woke up from surgery. I have had a history of having pretty severe nausea after surgery and I didn't want to be throwing up with those fresh incisions. The anesthesiologist also answered all of my questions beforehand. So I would ask as many questions as possible before they start your procedure.
I'm sorry you have to go through this my friend, women certainly don't have it easy. If you have very large fibroids it's probably best that you have this surgery because they can start to cause major complications, at least they did for me. Praying that all will go well for you! Please keep in mind that no matter what the doctors tell you, when you go 12 months without having a. Your body automatically starts going into perimenopause. keep a close eye out on your hormone levels after surgery and start looking into things that can keep you balance out
@@monnea2407 I went to a female ob, she tested my hormones and ended up giving me a low estradiol cream to rub on 1 time a day. Took about 3 weeks to feel the difference. I like it because it's not invasive and you can use what you need.
