Hyuna is really one of a kind in kpop, and it's interesting that she's actually shy irl 😂 In the lyrics of this song she refers to "Red", that's one of her big hits, the music video is sexy like this one but imo, more fun to watch. Also, her biggest hit in Korea is Bubble Pop. She's known for being part of a lot group projects (Wonder Girls, 4minute, Troublemaker, Triple H) alongside her solo career.

HyunA has been in the industry since 2007, been in multiply groups, and is an influential icon in kpop history. She purposely made a some of her older songs "raunchy" because at the time it wasn't accepted in the industry. Since she started doing sexy concepts it forced kpop to allow girls to be able to be more risque and have more freedoms in kpop. Now in kpop it is widely excepted and popular to do this kind of concept and it is largely due to HyunA's rule breaking back in her career. Its ok for you not to vibe with it but it is important to know that HyunA has always been a rule breaker and typically does whatever she wants/ controversial concepts to push industry boundaries. She has a subunit project called Triple H that she did with her boyfriend and one of his group members (at the time they were both in a boy group) and I would suggest their two videos 365 Fresh and Retro future. Like HyunA attitude, these videos caused controversy at the time ( not for being sexy though) and they are great/unique songs.

Illhoon is the rapper of BtoB and they are a boy group under CUBE aka the company she was signed to at the time when she released this song. So that's why he is on the song. HyunA is the queen, she's a great performer, she has soooo many good songs!! Hopefully you'll continue to deep dive into her solo songs!! I would say this song is her most like sexiest and edgiest song, atleast in video. Lip & Hip is kinda more sexier song wise but MV it's not on the same level, it's a bit more tone down and goofy-ish at times. HyunA and Sunmi were in Wonder Girls together way back when and even tho HyunA only promoted with them for a time she has maintained her friendship with her all this time, I hope one day they collab together :D

You guys should react to is who by Minseo! It’s super underrated and one of my favorite songs. It’s super unique. I forgot what the term or genre is but it’s different especially in kpop. Especially her live stages. It sounds exactly like in the MV so you should also react to one of those too! :)
