The Hyundai Accent is a nice car. Plus, it is now assembled in the Philippines. My only gripe with Hyundai Philippines is that they still sell the Accent variant with no airbags. The company simply should stop doing this and prioritize the safety of all its customers.
Advice to those who want the best-in-class pag dating sa power and fuel efficiency, look for a dealer who can give you a huge and I mean really HUGE discount. We're lucky we were referred to Hyundai Shaw Dealer because we got a 200k discount for the top-of-the-line. So instead of Php 1,038,000.00 we got it only for Php 838,000.00. Malakas na ang hatak tipid pa sa diesel. Yung tingin mong kulang na specs maraming reliable na aftermarket and di pa aabot sa 200k yung gagastusin so wag puro nega.
I have a 2020 Accent and I love it’s simplicity! I wasn’t looking for a small car but this model rates 4/5 on front and side crash tests and is very good with gas mileage. Dual front dash airbags/ steering wheel airbag and side curtain airbags that protect both backseat and front seat passengers. Mine has bluetooth and standard back up camera on it’s small but sufficient dash display. Navigation audio (not video) display on screen via bluetooth. Sure the audio is a bit bland but can be boosted with additional speakers if you so choose. This model has good steering/driving control and seems to have a solid adherence to the road. Biggest let down is the small leg space for the back seats and no center arm rest for front and back but for my needs, this is a keeper!
Good review! I am renting the 2016 version of this car now because last week my Jazz got hit by a jeepney that ignored red traffic light. This is my first ever drive in the Accent and thanks to mag upgrades (17in) it feels really planted on the road. But yeah, also very basic in terms of features. I hope they can repair my Jazz properly (left doors fully smashed in, B-pillar smashed in, side curtain airbags were deployed, no physical injuries).

At first I was going oh my God what is he reviewing. Features wala. Beyond basic, the only thing it’s got going for it is the transmission. But I’m happy you are reviewing car the average people may afford.
The steeering of this vehicle is second to none of its price segment. I tried the Vios but the Accent feels really good. That's why i went for this vehicle. And features can be easily added.
It may be basic pag dating sa high tech specs but make no mistake... it's a hell of a beast on the road without sacrificing fuel efficiency. Iwan City, Almera, Mirage at Vios sa speed, power at economy. So far, this Accent has better drive feel than those competitors.
Driver side lang ba may airbag, wala sa passenger? Headunit na walang Bluetooth??? These should come as standard nowadays. Maganda sana to kaso binarat masyado sa features kaya hindi pumapatok.
this is by far the worst car (value for money) in Philippines.... It is almost fun to see how you try to present it as a decent car but never the less you're damn God car reviewer. Keep up the good job! Make a video of Changan Alsvin when you get a chance.
@@davidnaromal4720 I'm saying it's overpriced. 890,000p for decent engine and decent chassis... but nothing else... and I mean literally nothing else. Not a single control on the steering wheel, fabric material seats, no arm rest, no cruise control(not even Isofix points!!!) no sunroof, cheap hard plastic all around.... and list goes on and on. There are cars on the market which are bare and featuresless like Accent but they certainly don't cost 890,000p

Terrible value for money. kahit na i highlight mo pa features nya. Pag na compare sa iba wala na. Crdi lang maganda sa line ng accent. Pero kahit yun super basic.
Kung makuha mo naman yung top of the line variant for just 838,000 like us, you can think of adding features via upgrades later on. We added Apple carplay head unit, LED Headlamps with DRL, fog lights and aluminum rims all for less than 60k.
@@TheMIBlack totoo yan sir. i got their top of the line last 2016 the diesel one. ok sya nun sa presyo nya. got mine for 798k. pero ngayon sir mahirap i justify yung asking price nila para sa walang kalaman laman na sasakyan. i think yung importer na HARI talaga me kasalanan kung bakit bare nakukuha ng pinas na accent unlike ng kia na hawak ng ayala mas may laman mga sasakyan nila.

It’s not affordable? It’s one of the cheapest cars out there. For 20k it comes with heated seats and a sun roof. You’re terrible at this, find another job.
