I have 2 cars, an 2017 Astra 1.6cdti and I have a 2018 Dacia Sandero 1.5dci. And what I can't understand for the life in me is how the Dacia, which is 35% cheaper car than the Astra is, has a diesel engine that works much quieter and smoother than the one in the Astra?? How is that possible? Does engine power have anything to do with engine noise? Because the Astra has 110hp, and the Dacia has only 75. Could this be the reason why Dacia is at least 20% quieter?
@@viktorgarage My Astra developed yet another symptom. It started to stuttering while driving in constant speed, in fifth gear mostly. Engine becomes louder, rpm starts to move up and down, but little, not too much, maybe 50rpm up, then 50rpm down. Always in 4th or 5th gear while driving at constant speed, 70-80km/h, car suddenly starts to stutter and lose power. No check engine light. No fault codes. One mechanic says clutch and worn flywheel, other say chain. But it could be 10 different things. This car gives me headache, worst car I ever own. Today I barely come home from work, using third gear where I usually drive in fifth.
@@emil9208 First of all, you need to change all the filters, including the fuel filter, you have a mechanical malfunction, the chain and clutch have nothing to do with it, and you can also clean the map sensor
