Not taking anything away from his driving skills, but that's not left foot braking, he is just checking to make sure he has solid brake before he gets to the braking zone. The two tap he does just moves the pads in towards the brake rotor if they aren't in the proper place. And as a note to the driver, the Elantra N actually does this automatically when you let off the throttle (throttle is 0%).

Man, very impressive driving! You were keeping up really well (if not passing) others on track. Loved how the red 911 would pull ahead on the straights and you immediately caught up in the next corner 😂. Seriously considering an elantra n now

This is my first car with rev match so I guess I've been enjoying it too much. haha It definitely felt good heel and toeing on the track again.

Thanks! Stock peak boost was 16psi. With JB4 map1 I see 20psi max.

i would say that the reason he was able to keep up was straight skills. You can see his control over the car, Heel toe shifting, using all the track, taking the correct lines, hitting the apex everytime. That Porsche driver didnt do none of that lol The Hyundai driver was at least 3-5 tenths faster on every turn.

Thanks for the upload! I saw that you tried double apexing t2 at the start but I guess you didn't like it? Also, I notice you start out a little bit wider on t9 compared to your previous track days. I'm guessing it lets you carry more speed into the corner? That turn is a little spooky 😨

I've been trying different lines for those turns and still reviewing my runs to see which is better for lap time. Turn 2 is the trickiest one for me for sure. I kept messing up the braking and either understeered and went wide or slowed down too much and lost momentum.

Stock ps4s tires are awesome but they show their weaknesses on track. So far I've used 3 track tires and Yokohama A052 tires were my favorite!

감사합니다 😄 3~4psi 차이라 그리 크지는 않지만 가속력이 약간 좋아진게 느껴지긴 하더라구요. 다행히도 주행중이나 후에 맵이 풀리거나 다른 문제는 없었네요.

Did you upgrade the brake fluid or pads? I absolutely boiled my DOT-3 fluid in my CTS on a track day here. The pads got so hot they turned white. Trying to slow down in turn one with the pedal going further and further to the floor was a tad harrowing.

I did 5 track days with completely stock brake fluid and pads then upgraded to motul rbf600 fluid. Never upgraded my rotors or pads and still running OEM setup. I just installed my 3rd set of pads and 2nd set of front rotors after 12 track days.

멋진 주행영상입니다. 예전에 미국에 있을때 라구나에서 엔진블로우나서 텅빈 서킷에서 혼자 남아 토우트럭 기달리던 생각이 나네요 ㅎ 궁금한게 신차인데 엔진마운트들을 왜 바꾸셨나요? 현대쪽 엔지니어 말로는 N은 부싱도 고경도로 들어간다고 하는데 실제로는 많이 소프트한가요?

서킷에서 제일 경험하기 싫은걸 경험하셨군요. ㅠㅠ 트랙데이마다 최소 한대씩은 트럭에 실려나오는걸 보는데 볼때마다 남일 같지 않아서 참 안타깝더라구요... 아엔 순정 엔진 리어마운트로는 1~2단 휠합이 너무 심해요. 뭐 저야 드래그레이싱은 안하니까 큰 차이는 없다해도 엔진 저단 기어 들어가는것도 약간 더 부드러워지긴 하더라구요.

Why were you tires not gripping and did you feel slower because of not using auto rev match?

I think the tires overheated quickly due to hot weather. Concentrating on heel and toe sometimes messed up my braking so I think with auto rev match on I can shave off another 0.5~1.0 sec.

It only happened once in the last session when I drove here back in June. Later, I found out the pads were basically done so I installed new oem pads before this event.

네 미국 트랙은 안전상의 이유로 최소 앞창문은 전부 내리고 타야해요. 속도는 마일이 맞습니다.

What was your experience with the tune? Notice you have it on your listing for modifications. Is this also you r daily driver or just for race track?

I'm only running map1 with 91 octane meaning the boost peaks at 20psi which is basically the maximum stock boost with "high-octane learning" completed. My car was running at ~16psi before the tune (without HOL) so it's not a huge improvement but I could feel better response throughout the rpm range. Currently I'm using this car for track use only.

주행하시다가 중간중간 브레이크를 툭툭 밟으시던데 이유가 있나요??

풀브레이킹전에 브레이크가 작동하는지 확인하는거랑 주행중 심한 진동(연석을 밟거나 등등)으로 인해 혹시라도 패드가 디스크에서 멀어지면 페달을 밟았을때 순간 답력이 없고 페이드현상이 날수도 있기 때문에 두번정도 톡톡 쳐주면 패드가 디스크에 다시 밀착하게끔 만드는 역할을 합니다. 뭐 꼭 할 필요는 없고 그냥 혹시 모를 상황을 위한 습관입니다. 🤣

S2000 먼가 농락 당한기분 보통 s2000 아닌듯..20년을 담금질한 S2000 같은데 40마력만 더높았어도 이겼을듯

아침에도 몇번 따라가봤는데 언덕길 올라가는 속도도 거의 비슷한거 보니 순정은 아닌거 같고 6번 코너 계속 브레이킹 없이 가는거 보고 세팅이 정말 잘된차인게 보이더라구요.
