I got the new corolla sedan M/T I have to say it has very smooth driving, nice appearence interior and exterior, good speed for big sedan Overall i would say 8.7/10 for this car!

I have a chev cruise in Thailand 2014 LTZ 2litre turbo diesel, gets to 200 in no time you can cruise at 230 k easy ,I flicked it up to 240 one day and it still had more. I don't understand why the 1.8 cruise doesn't do better than you report my mate had one and it was awesome.

It's best to use a gps speedometer to verify top speeds as my experience is not hardly any car out there have accurate speedometer. They usually are programmed to overread by a bit. I have checked cars that are over reading by more than 10kmh by the time it is showing 200kmh
I own a 2018 Elantra 2.0 and it’s top speed is 223 km/h, this is nice thing to know about other cars like the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla cause they’re a lot from where I live
Idk how you got the Corolla to go that fast. When I had a 2015 Corolla it topped out at 115mph bc of the limiter. My 2016 civic topped out at 125mph when I hit the limiter. Where ever this is filmed do y’all not have speed governors from factory?
So if anything, this shows that it's roughly the same among these three vehicles, as the power/weight ratio is probably very similar. Good to know that the Corolla can keep pace with the Elantra, Civic and Cruze (although I wouldn't buy a Cruze myself due to GM quality).

Happens to me too i kept searching for reasons and it turned out that it was my fault i was too harsh on the engine so the ecm for some reason cuts a little bit of power u can solve this by running 93 Octane all the time some how it never happens when I'm on 93
I live in iraq, see the thing is we have our pedala electronically controlled and i still don't know how to program it not to cut power when I'm too hard on the pedal all the time but as i come to find out for some reason everytime i waa on 93 Octane it was just perfect. Hope this helps i know how bad it feels ❤️
Simple fix its called turbo lag for this car you need to be in the power band if you want to go full send first make sure you have traction control disabled from here you want to make sure your car is shifted to s which is shorter gear from here head on the highway or any road that is open and your turbo range on the civic will be at 2.5k to 3.5k rpm from here you should brake and gas at the same time to build pressure on the power band then from there let off the brake once you built the pressure and full send and do not let off the throttle until you reach your goal
