My eon also having the same problem… eps warning is on and my steering wheel is tight.. but automatically the eps light is off after some time…dunno the reason why it is behaving…can u suggest any idea behind this
Thanks for the comment. If you scan the module you may know the exact problem where it is, otherwise you can look for the wiring loose connections near the fuses or the male/female coupling regarding eps module.
@@suhailmotortechnology7463 Hi thanks for your reply.. I went to hyundai showroom and they scanned it and they are roughly said eps board and eps motor is prblm.. It will cost around 20K... It will be the reason?

I have a same issue with my EON 2012 . My total steering control unit has been removed by previous owner (don't know the reason) now I want to get new one. My doubt is if I installed control unit is enough or I need to change all entire steering module. If you have that EPS unit means pls send ur number. Thanks in advance 👍
Thanks for the comment brother. First you scan your car, you will then know what's the reason behind. Check the live data turning your steering as is checked in my vedio, please then decide what to do. I don't have the module, I bought through Hyundai genuine spare shop.
When I start my car, steering is smooth. But after few kms it starts to feel tight. Again if I stop and start the car it is smooth again. But feels tight after few kms again. What could be the issue.. There is no check light in my Eon for EPS.
