Very thorough review, I couldn't stop watching. I love how you lead in your comments with a walk, although it is repetitive it puts your words out more naturally than just simply appearing on the screen standing next to the car at cuts. Nicely done!
Arriving a bit late to the party, my partner averages 45 mpg in her commute in a black Hyundai i20N. Her commute is mostly a motorway 150 mile round trip two or three times weekly. She averages 70 to 75 for much of the journey, she loves it to bits and considers it a near perfect “throw-back” hot hatch.
Here in Italy the VW equivalents cost at least 6000 euro more than the hyundai connectline. Also they drive pretty similar to it, the only real big difference is how the keep their value over time and the ease to resell.
About the stop-go time counting feature: I do love to see how much time I spend a month at red light. I zero the stop-and-go timer each month. Also nice to see from how much idling I saved the world and my petrol bill each month thanks to this feature. Am I the only one?
Yes it's a major issue having to press a button to change it to comfort,bit like having to put your seat belt on it goes back to eco to save you fuel ⛽
