Replacing Crankshaft sensor on Hyundai I30 1.4 Petrol. initially the engine was getting stopped at the low speed particularly at traffic lights & around the junction. However the car used to get started after with long self, after the engine was back on running, the ESP Off lights used to come on, the Rev Counter shows zero reading even the engine was running. The acceleration drooped and there was no control working of the car. I initially replaced the spark plugs but then found that it is the Crankshaft sensor needs replacing. I contacted Hyundai dealer, the quote me £75+VAT to diagnose the fault. The Crankshaft Sensor costs |£48 in VAT and Hyundai quote me £157 (inc VAT & Sensor) to do this job. I then tried my self to replace the sensor. Watch all the three videos to do it yourself to save to save some money.
