I've seen this also. More regularly than I would have expected it but on saying that, having never had an EV before, I'm not sure what to expect. I probably seen the "Aux battery charged" note when I get in the car a couple of times a week. Would be interesting know what others experience is.
Does this only work/appear when the car is connected with the charger . My 12v battey was drained this morning. Inhad the car not plugged in, because it had enough juice (81%) But when i wanted to start it up, the mirrors dind’t fold en the doors could not unlock. After i put a jumpstarter on and the traction battery was engaged there was only 61% charge left !
Eric - I’d presume that your car gets driven regularly and yet this charging event still occurs? Would think that a regularly driven car would not see this at all, let alone very often. Or, perhaps this is like some sort of preventative maintenance built into the car software (every so many days or hours - do this - no matter what). Not much capacity to the 12v battery?
I see this usually on the weekends. If I am not going any place I won't charge the car until Monday morning. Then I will see this usually Saturday afternoon. You can turn this feature off.
I am getting over 225 km now. I think the weather makes a bigger difference than the tires. The summer tires are a lot quieter than the winter ones though.
