I wonder how long a modern car will hold up in Congo! The old cars look like they've been through hell because they have, but they have always been repaired.
@Animes Pour Ados holy shit you guys consider this car is a less affluent middle class car in Congo? Im from Indonesia and Santa Fe is quite expensive for our standard. A middle upper class car sure. I guess Indonesia is poorer than Congo.
Finally turn signal was used lol and i guess that’s a nicer area at the beginning since those were newer car at the front. I wonder what’s on the clock of those yellow toyota echo (taxi i guess?)
You mean middle class? Stop kidding me. If someone can buy the hundai or kia in kinshasa, i mean in congo they are damn rich like who can buy the toyota if ac unit works, thats mean oh, this guy totally rich in kinshasa i mean in Africa. Most of them turn of the ac or remove the ac unit to save fuel costs. Honestly middle class takes the 1990's ver of toyota or European model. And small Japanese cars
Absolutely they used to be Korean Mitsubishis but completely Korean now he probably just wasn’t using it to save fuel. The palisade is the nicest hyundai
The car should be new or semi-new. I was wondering if it was possible to buy new cars in Congo. In fact, being one of the poorest countries in the world with a very low per capita income, I don't understand how they can buy a new car. In any case, on those roads the car becomes crap in a short time. However I really like these exotic videos from distant Africa. Good job! Greetings from Italy.
Hyundai actually made a deal with the congo government to export 500 Palisade suvs for the top officials in the country to expand their marketplace. They are trying to overtake the traditional Toyota Land Cruisers that are popular in these parts of the globe. Hyundai and Kia have came a long way since the 90s and early 2000s, nobody would have ever thought the Koreans would dominate the car industry today.
Roads, Streets in very bad condition. For all these you need a Jeep, SUV oder Car with AWD,but not a normal care where you drive in Roads of Usa and Europe daily
Hate that car. Just a month of financing it with only 1 owner previously. It was hesitating on me in the highway and the accelerator wasn't picking up speed. Whack brand overall I've dealt with my whole life! Love toyota most
