Thank you! You are a blessing sir. I'm going to replace my stereo today and its all thanks to you. I wouldn't have the confidence to even attempt the swap if it wasn't for your how to video! Good luck and best wishes to you.
That yellow connector is NOT an airbag sensor, it's an indicator light for passenger airbag disable, You certainly can disconnect it without ANY concern. I just did a stereo in my daughter's car and had no issues, other than the COPIOUS amount of plugged-in harnesses.
Hi Factory Car Stereo Repair, I tried to unplug the AC connector (the 3rd connector on the video, white and blue) but it is not coming off. I'm afraid of breaking it because of squeezing it at the center to the max that I can. Do you have any advise on how to take it off?
My 2005 Tucson has the tape deck as well and I had bought one of those auxiliary cassettes to bluetooth to my phone, and now it is stuck! If I remove the car stereo system like this will I be able to get to the tape deck to possibly remove that cassette? Any tips?
My stereo goes on and off at random, and the Bluetooth doesn't work anymore. Oh, this is an after market pioneer double DIN that I had put in. Do you think a connection is loose? The radio plays when the radio lights are illuminated during the times that the radio works. The Bluetooth shows the same number on the display that is also on the other Bluetooth device I want to pair, but the Bluetooth device cannot pair with the radio. This happens no matter what Bluetooth phone I try. What could be the issue? Bluetooth pairing used to work earlier
I installed a Pioneer in my wife's 2006 Tucson. Same issue with Bluetooth, and the USB port no longer works. I will be replacing it shortly, but not with another Pioneer.
I got 2009 Tuscan , it literally took a minute to remove the stereo check it out on youtube ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YDAeV5zzxPQ.html , might be a different kind bracket 2008.
@@jamesboswell1079 Thanks!!! I'm going to be getting a Tuscon soon, which has a bum radio that needs to be replaced, and I was watching the video and thinking to myself what a royal pain in the ass it was going to be, and then saw your link. Definitely way easier.
The video was somewhat helpful but wasn't a locked helpful because the same stuff he was doing was easy for him to take out and it's not for me and my card I've been sitting here for over an hour trying to get the pieces to come out he said push down know all of the cars is not make the same and I wish you would quit saying that s***I'm having so many problems he was helpful all the way up to taking the dashboard part off because that's the hardest part to get off cuz it's not coming off no matter how much you push on the clips are the clamps or whatever it's not coming off I don't see how he got his off so easy and mine's is not coming off
