Thanks! Haha yea, that’s actually one of my biggest issues is not besting able to see it so good when it gets out there like that, and farther. The combination of being far away and hard to see and trying to time the rotation to match the varying terrain. This wasn’t too bad but the motocross track can get a lil tough sometimes. That one jump I was like “abort, abort!” And you did 😂 was all over the place on the run up. I noticed you were missing the ramp and the impact slowed you way down and I thought you were going into the side of the jeep 😂 what’s the rules on the challenge?
Yep lol such a rollercoaster of emotions 😂 first jump went perfect, I’m thinking boom! Easy, just rip another couple then swing the jeep around. Then I ramp shave it big time and land in the road 🤦🏼♂️ after that I was crazy worried about the lineup. If I was smart I would have widened the ramp after that first crash. But I’m not smart 😆 the stipulations are your supposed to drive around and when you find a new spot you haven’t bashed before to do a call out in the vehicle of what you intend to do.

At those speeds you gotta smooth it out as much as possible or it gets bucked out of control on the launch. Often the work needed to shape it up isn’t worth it, location is key. I wanted to hit it with an Outcast 8s but I just had too much to fix and edit to run it back w/ the bigger stuff. 🤷🏼♂️ next season. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🚀🔥

Thanks I was trying to do minimal work for the shape of it, I was thinking it would be easier to line up than it was. I needed for it to veer to he left slightly to make my desired landing zone and actually go over the vehicle. That put the light poles even more in the way haha so I opted to just give it a lil adjustment at the end 🤷🏼♂️ And yea I’m so freaking glad the Kraton didn’t hit my car 😆🫣 I was VERY nervous when it started cartwheeling 😵💫 I have lots of spare RC parts. I have no spare Jeep parts, or money for that matter 😂 ballsy for sure, with a sprinkle of stupid 🤣🤘🏼🤘🏼🚀🔥 thanks for the kind words and the watch. Thanks man, I put more time in the edit on this one, I’m trying to step up my content. The audio can be the hardest part for me, to get it where I like it. And not just get the job done. It’s easy to go cheap and just pick some random mellow whatever. But to change it up as the tempo and mood changes takes a bit of patience and time. The snow kinda felt like a cheat code to be honest, if I hadn’t found that I was debating trying to jump the train somewhere 🙃😛🤷🏼♂️ I figured this was the safer of the two options. Some times things don’t seem so sane until you know what the alternative was bahaha 🤘🏼🤘🏼🚀🔥😛 you got this homie! You should call it I’d hit that, if you wanted 👊🏼 deez gotta hit it 😜🤣
@@StraitJacketRCHell yeah you killed it with this one. I am just going through and watching everyone's videos so far, and watched this again. Somehow I missed your response until just now. I really struggle with editing.. I really need to spend more time and effort on learning more about it. I always have a much better idea in my head than what comes out on video. This video was great though I won't be surprised at all if you get best in show this month. I found a couple spots, not nearly as epic lol, but found one more spot I want to try, then edit and get it up before it's too late lol. Was a ton of fun for sure. Already looking forward to next months challenge, though I do have a few things to fix first hehe.
Thanks eh, I don’t have room to store a ramp of any real size or room to transport it. I’m planning to make one but it needs to either be folding or break down into several main pieces. I just find natural stuff mostly. Going to spend time to shape up the jumps and level out the run ups at the track, that is where I do most my jumping. Did you ever rip their track there yet after you checked it out?

Building to building gap or trick shot maybe. 🤷🏼♂️ land in the back of a moving truck 😜 hehe There is a train that rolls by just down the road from me 🤔 but I thought that might come with questions and headaches 😆😑
