At 5'10" I agree with you. I'd like to be shorter but I'm not about to have major surgery for something so ridiculous. Of course I am also smart enough to have said I'd like to be shorter, not that I'd like to be smaller.
Just were a skirt as tall women look best with visible legs or stockings & 5' 9'' isn't that tall for a bird even if the average is 5' 3''. You are basically the average males height. I'm 6' 4'' even if men under 6 foot argue I'm 6' 5'' to gain an inch. Personally I prefer a women closer to 6 foot since I don't have to look down to make eye contact & they are less likely to flinch every time I move as not only am I tall but broad. I consider it rather insulting that most women's immediate instant to me is fear even if my face is scarred & I have Millen streak. Mind my Great grand uncle Wolfgang being 7' 8'' though about 7' 6/5'' stooped since he is a century old which that is 'tall' & imposing without the fact of being ex-Wehrmacht who thinks ww2 never ended. Most of the Women in my family are 6 foot tall give or take but not broad like the men. I have to actively remind myself that most women aren't short but that my military lineage with multiple elders over a century old is an abnormally & not the norm. If you really want longer trousers then just go to a tailor! Most of my clothing are made to fit & my personal preference. Never understood why people own so many cloths when you can only wear so many in the years we have. Best to have quality over quantity; I find. Mind I have rarely known women to make up their minds on much let alone their attire of garb. If women had taste the best fashion designers would be gay & bi men? The cloths I have seen women pay a small fortune is astounding when it was nothing special nor flattering to their physique. Most women buy something because of how they like how another women wears it rather then how it looks upon them. Envy is unbecoming & puts years on many women which is why I don't recommend it! Few learn to work with what they have wanting to be something they are not which I do find worthy of ridicule & laughter but am far to composed while little surprises me of people as they are usually underwhelming to say the least.
As a fully grown 5’ 2” woman, I will say that being so short is incredibly inconvenient for day to day living. Can’t reach most things, most clothing doesn’t fit, and I have back problems.

Depends. Once you get to a certain height, it gets annoying. I didn't take a bath for almost 2 decades, don't fit in tubs very well. Got a 3 person corner tub when I got this house, so now I can and love it. Even shower heads, some hotels have them small...then you have to duck. (And I'm only 6'4", the actual giants probably have more of an issue). Beds have to be king size and even then there's not much room to spare. Shaq probably has issues walking through normal doorways all the time lol

Shortening yourself is actually a very simple procedure you can even do it at home. All you have to do is get two elastic bands and wrap them around each leg as tight as possible. Then you get a hacksaw and cut the lower portion of your legs off. Boom now you are shorter.

I reckon it's hypothetically possible since I have the short torso/long legs, so I reckon, if it's possible to slice away a section of bone and muscle from my calves and thighs, I be made shorter without it looking strange. I don't know how it would work with feet. Surprisingly, musculoskeletal isn't my speciality.
No, no, the existing leg surgeries men have gotten to be taller are risky and so far have been shown to ruin their musculoskeletal health. At least from my personal perspective-- I am male, 6'1", almost 50 years of age, and I had my L5 and S1 vertebrae fused about 20 years ago. Most of my height is in my torso. That surgery was gnarly and hard to recover from; I'm still doing the physiotherapy grind! You can't be serious.

Also did it limit your movement in any way? Were you able to play sports and run etc. normally (as in a similar fashion as to before the operation) afterwards?
Oh, for guys that have their legs broken and then hardware is put in to forceably make them longer and their overall height taller? Yes. But I have never ever seen the inverted equivalent that Bimbo Tatted Barbie UK is asking for. Maybe that's why the one surgeon looked gobsmacked.

I’m 5’7. It’s a nice height once you get used to avoiding hitting your head on random things. I am average height but whenever I go out, it does feel like I’m taller coz I tower over a few people due to different ethnic backgrounds.
Same, dude. And 2 of my 3 younger sisters are barely pushing 6'. One of them started sneezing cutesy to seem less intimidating. As in an "ah-choo" that rises in pitch. I do not profess to understand. I am 6'1", as in, the beginning of tall for men. I am also pushing 50, so, I will shrink in height as befits growing older as time goes on. So I chuckle and say once again that humans can be strange-- and I would know, being strange myself. Never a dull moment
As a 5'5" guy normally I wouldn't recommend any kind of height surgery but in this case I can kinda understand. I don't think 5'7" is that bad of a height because that's like what? Kinda tall be not really tall. If you're gonna do it at least go down to 5'5" or 5'4" which you can probably do without surgery. I'd say that's reasonable because that's like the average female height. On a side note: Some people like my brother for instance always thinks I look 5'8" when I'm actually 5'5'".
i mean guys want to get taller, i can see why girls want to get smaller, i personally like smaller girls. i dont think it would change if i would date someone, but if the same exact girl would stand infront of me one taller than the other i would get the smaller one.
As someone who's 4'9 and hates being short and wishes I was taller, this girl not appreciating her 5'7 height and wantign to be shorter kind of offends me. I can understand if she was "6'7" but 5'7? Not fair that people like her get to be 5'7 when she'd probably rather be my height but I'm 4'9 when I'd rather be 5'7.

5'7 is an average height. It's not too tall, or too short. Why does she have a problem being 5'7? I could see if she was 6'7. As a guy I don't get why so many females want to change so much about their bodies, most notably by putting on make-up. I honestly prefer the way young ladies look without wearing make-up.
Regular everyday makeup isn't a big deal. Most women don't wear the makeup you see the women wearing on RU-vid and Facebook. It's all make believe when you don't resemble yourself.

That’s a pretty simple way to not care about anything. Have a bit more faith. Our universe cares and is beautiful. Sure, our height doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things. But, to then say the universe doesn’t care about us when we live and breathe thanks to it is a bit much.

I guess. I have a late friend who had a bum leg that hurt all the time, so he blew it off with a shotgun. No, really. I wish I was joking. Very old friend of my wife's side of the family too. It's hilarious to suggest but, hey, I've admitted to knowing someone that did about half that idea with less excruciatingly slow methods. From what he told me and having known him for almost 25 years, I doubt very much he seriously recommends it. But I went on to meet other cool dudes who had prosthetic left legs (below the knee) just like him.

Do people not realize that this just screws up your body proportions?!?? She'll end up having long arms in comparison to he legs... To even balance this out they'll have to shorten her arms.... And even things will still look off.
