A BRITISH teenager with albinism is following her dreams of becoming a model, despite being called an ‘inside out Oreo’. Kimberley, 15, from Derby, was born with Oculocutaneous Albinism Type 1 - affecting the colouring of her skin, hair and eyes. Kim told Barcroft TV: “I think it’s important for everyone to accept themselves - I want albinism to be portrayed in a good light through the media.”

She is perfect the way God made her! Albanism can make you question what is black, really. Is it features, is it skin pigment, or is it culture? She can probably move seamlessly through different ethnic groups of people and social situations. We all could if we see each other as people and not as color. We’re all related. Acts 17:26.

she is actually a white african anerican. The characterization of a black person is reference to the skin color of the person which by definition with a mid to dark brown complexion. However i am in no way saying she should be attacked for being an abnormality, but she is not a “black person” she is a white person that has african defendants and is herself an african american. Hate to be the not fun at parties guy but every race has an average set of facial features. Its not just skin color that determines a race. Africans on average have wider noses, so do some east asians and it can appear on some caucasians as well. You can see monolids on black people as well etc. But it's the sum of all of these that makes you say "yeah, he is of x race". But the most relevant feature is the jawline/facial outline. Try to look at pictures with diverse sets of people and make an abstraction of the color to see it. Or just look at skull pictures and see the bones on which the facial features are built. Fun fact: east asians have the smallest arm length-height ratio on average (not that this means anything, i just find it interesting)

Some albinism types cause vision issues and others don't, there are different types of albinism. Even in the types where it can affect your eyes, some people can have that type and their eyes just happen to not be affected by it.

Blackness is about skin colour dude. She is African American, which is the correct name for people of African ethnic ancestry who are from America. Black is a colour not a race, African and Caucasian, those are the race, not black or white.

my fiance has albinism. The wobbling you are describing is called nystagmus and a common trait of someone born with albinism. Your friend does not have to look closely at objects to read things due to nystagmus, but she more than likely has to look closely because she is legally blind, which is another common trait of someone with albinism.
