We’re taking 18 acres of raw land and making it our home. We’re building our dream home and homestead from scratch. From permaculture food forests, an efficient smaller home, we’re experiencing it all!
This week I’m collecting sap and boiling down our maple syrup on our propane stove. This is isn’t my favourite way to boil, but we thought we’d give it a try!

Completely! And if you aren’t wasting a ton of money on propane, you’re spending a lot of time chopping wood! But it’s so worth it!
