I love it all … LV monogram, Ebene, Azur and Fendi Zuca. It does match my wardrobe really well, so I get that!

I am a Damier Ebene fan. I love the dark chocolate-milk chocolate combo. I am also leaning toward the Damier Azure, I just get nervous about vachetta. I need to get over it. If it got wrecked, I could always get it dyed.

Poppy is Versace! I also don't like the monogram.

Maybe she'd say it's too cliche, but I think Poppy would find it hard to resist the Lanvin cat bags. They so resemble her.

I like the Eclipse Monogram. My wardrobe is mainly black, white and jewel tones, so the traditional monogram patterns don’t work well with most of my wardrobe.

Poppy = Kate Spade. I 100% agree with your sentiments about LV. I will never buy the brand. Too many knock-offs, poor color palettes, overpriced by a lot, logo is so loud, I prefer no or quiet logos.

I can see Poppy as a Loewe lover. Very unique and edgy designs! I think the LV monogram and damier canvas complements warm tones better than cool. I can definitely see how all of that brown and tan would not be for you!

I always appreciate your thoughts and well thought out explanations on items. I do love the different canvases. I think they should make some of the combinations you noted. :-) However, I have to admit...this video Poppy just was a star. :-)

I’m thinking of buying an Neverfull GM in Damier Azur only because I don’t have one and it’s kinda a requirement for LV lovers. I do love your Gucci and Longchamp totes. Your collection is quite different than the other fabulous lux RU-vidrs. It’s refreshing. You look good in black btw!

Hey there, Nick. I would love to have a monogram canvas piece from LV. As you said, it just depends how what you like and what would work with your wardrobe. I’m not sure if I would want a reverse monogram; I think it would depend on the silhouette of the handbag or SLG. Thanks for sharing!

Gucci monogram is really the only one for me. I do own a couple LVs but they are also hard to style for myself as well

For Poppy, Moschino immediately popped into my head!! And I’m with you on the LV monogram. I was a SA for LV for almost 14 years and worked there part time just so I could buy bags. In 14 years time, I only bought 4 monogram pieces, 3 of which are luggage pieces and they are all still just sitting my closet taking up space. 😒 They just aren’t my aesthetic either.

I have two large-ish pieces of LV monogram: the Speedy 30 Bandoulière, and the Boulogne with black leather corners and strap. The rest of my monogram pieces are SLGs. I agree that the monogram is not very pretty, and the vachetta is troublesome (my Speedy handles have been wrapped in a pair of silk LV BB bandeaux from the day I bought it). I do like the Damier Azur, though, and always wanted a Neverfull, sans vachetta--so, when the Spring in the City collection came out with the Neverfull in Damier Azur and white leather trim with braided leather shoulder strap, I had to have it! The trouble with LV is that it is faked up to the back teeth...and of course, that model was faked almost before the collection came out! Anyway, I'm sticking to quality leather pieces, now. I just picked up two pre-loved Mulberry Amberley large satchels--one in Oxblood and the other in Clay, both with the top handle and separate shoulder strap that attaches at the back--and a new Bayswater satchel in high shine black leather. You get sooo much bag for your £ at Mulberry! By the way, I love your Gucci bag! And I see Poppy as a Dolce & Gabbana girl! xx

I vote Geiger for Poppy! And I actually really love the damier ebene/azur, and I love the style of a speedy, but I don’t care at all about LV. I ended up getting the $25 ones from Walmart in each color and they’re absolutely solid bags for what they are. Just a heads up in case anyone else is in a similar boat and just likes the style.

I agree. I don’t understand the vechetta leather has to go on everything. Not all colours go with brown and it can get very dark brown overtime. No idea why they dont use more coloured leather. Those gorgeous pink bags with brown vechetta leather 🤢🤢 🤮In what world does pink go with brown?? I only got my first louis piece this year. Always associate it with brown and I dont wear much brown. I got a denim bag which actually looks ok with the vecheta leather and a mens bandolier speedy in black & grey monograme. Typical me tho neither have left the house yet

Poppy is absolutely a Moschino girlie! As far as LV, I really love LV classics myself, but you are a man of vibrant, fun fashion, I couldn’t see you wearing LV because it’s just not your palette….unless it were maybe P9 speedy in their new gorgeous colors. 😝🥰

My monogram bags are small, one with vachetta and one with black trim. I think the monogram looks lovely with a honey vachetta but a large, monogram bag wouldn’t be my style. I do have a damier azur bag with blue trim and lining and I adore it. I wish LV would use different coloured trim more often. I like the Gucci Supreme canvas too because it looks more like a pattern than the GGs to my (older) eyes 😂.
