I applied for nursing in Ghana but I wasn’t given the opportunity because I was a visual arts student. But here I am in the USA as a registered nurse. All I did was to write my entrance exam and n I passed and here I am living my dream life ❤
Is so sad that in Ghana, sometimes we dont support and appreciate our own. No wonder he said he wont die for Ghana. We all these qualifications and experience, he couldnt achieve his dreams in Ghana. America made it possible, God bless America..❤❤❤❤🎉
Make sure you have some skills. There’s abundance of jobs here. They are transferable. Any hands on job skills like carpentry, plumbing, electrical worker, mechanic etc. nurses and IT skills are in demand. I have been a resident here for 50 plus years. I am a retiree now.

if you have a a degree use it to apply for a student visa after you have gained admission into a school in your preferred country. I think that is the fastest way to get in

Krakye you don’t need him to join the military. In any major city in America there are recruitment centers. Just walk-in or goggle the address. The recruiter will tell you the process. 1. You will to take a test 2. Your background will be investigated If you fit the criteria, you will be sent to military training (boot camp). But you have to be a US citizen or green card holder (permanent resident). I am not too sure about the latter. Just check with the recruiter. If you pass the training you will then be officially commissioned to be a soldier. My nephew joined the army about 7 years and had his training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. He’s a sergeant but not on active duty. This is not Ghana. You don’t need any connection. ❤✌🏿

Why do you Ghanaians need someone to help you to do something? Google u can find the requirements to be employed as a nurse in America. The little that I know. You have to take NCLEX Exam. Currently the exam centers close to Ghana are in India & South Africa. Good luck.

You need to open bank account with your residence permit card for at least 6 month or years and contact the country you want to go either their consolate or embassy. If you're working with a company then you'll need a letter of Noc. That's the procedure for moving to another country from the gulf continent.
You are right America is land of opportunity have you ever asked yourself how they're able to develop the land of opportunity? Do you know the hardship they went through before they were able to develop America they suffered they came together did voluntary work and you are there comparing Ghana to America come to Ghana with what you have experience what you have learnt in America and develop the Ghana there are many opportunities .Americans who left America to other countries they came back and the America We can also develop Ghana as America when we change our mindset

The person filing for you will do everything in the US and communicate what you need to do to you after the approval. That is the first step. Until then you don't start to do anything except your passport else most documents you begin to get too soon can expire by the visa interview date.
