Good goal race there Chris. That should keep you motivated during the long winter months. Sub 3.10 should get you into London automatically next time round.
All the best with your continued recovery Chris!! Maybe should use the elliptical machine at the gym for at least a few days instead of running!! I’ve signed up for a HM end of November and the Paris marathon start of April but if I feel good I may do one early January! Take care!!!
Hope the recovery goes well Chris. That's a lovely marathon to do, though maybe I'm a bit biased being a local 😃 I'll be going along to spectate so will give you a cheer
Good luck on brighton marathon and hit that goal time. Not done brighton before, hope the course is good just not heard great stuff about the organisers lately. I've signed up for Manchester marathon in April 2023.
Thanks Simon. Yeah the news over the past couple of years hasn’t been great. But it’s for charity, that’s all that matters. Best of luck with your training 👊
@@ThatRunningGuy There's a section on my regular loop which averages 6% for 200m and it's amazing how the work done running up there translates to more speed on the flat.
injuries are a bitch and are not fun at all. hoping your recovery is ok and quick. I've always thought about running the Brighton marathon. I've done the half and it was awesome. can't wait to see the how the training goes for this. I have signed up for Manchester and in the ballot for London and then also I've got the Berlin one later on next year
Sorry to hear about your injury, actually am thinking of doing Brighton as well. I was thinking of going for a good for age time, if I get it at Brighton next year will it be valid for London the year after? Will be interested in your training schedule!
@@ThatRunningGuy yes indeed, it’s something that’s directly affected my family too so I’ll be on the lookout for the link when you start fundraising 👊🏼
