I feel like Meg’s treatment and Beyoncé’s treatment is indicative of the larger relationship society has with black women. Even as LS as Beyoncé is she wasn’t able to escape this hate-to-love-love-to-hate type attitude people have toward BW. On the one hand people want to feel good about supporting BW and complimenting them but still harbor envy and hate for their successes and will turn on a dime from uplifting BW to tearing them down. I really don’t know what people want from BW.

Until someone has seasonal tours for $1 like J. Cole, I don’t want to hear ANYTHING. I saw him twice in a week for $51 total... and this was right after Forest Hills Drive was released, good seats and all. Plus he’s had thee blackest shows I’ve been to, soooo...

Also Megan seems like she's the sweetest person, she just lost a mom and lost her dad a few years ago, I hope she's got a lot of love around her cause people are cruel for not reason.

I don't hate Beyonce, but when people start saying she's the greatest singer, songwriter, dancer, performer, etc of all time I do give a bit of a side eye.

Everyone has their particular favs. It's generational thing too. It's the same as me Saying Tupac is the greatest rapper of all time meanwhile, another person might feel different. Beyonce just catch the most hell for being praised.

Beyonce is the best vocalist today . And she is the best performer alive. Nobody said beyonce is the best dancer or songwriter. Pls do not lie. I love Mariah but she lost her voice. Adele is c singer. The black singers lacked beyonce range and techniques like jazmine Jennifer brandy . We are talking about this generation not in history. Who have beyonce range, stamina , stage presence, work ethic, and ability to sing and dance for 2 hours .can any artist today make beychella or beyonce Glastonbury in 2011 or her superbowl.
