Everybody changes everyday but this walk has changed a LOT about the way I think. In this video, I walk to Kinnegad and then along the Royal Canal to Leixlip, County Kildare.

I’ve changed since you started this particular walk, and I thank you for that Derek. For one I go walking for a couple of hours every day now as well I ride de Boike! But I’m taking a look at everything, I’m thinking perhaps there’s another way of doing some things I’ve always done, and venturing in a different direction 🤟💚

I think your walks are mind blowing Derek through Ireland. It’s the camaraderie of all the nice people you meet along the way that adds beauty You stopping along the roadside to greet the sheep cows dogs and that beautiful horse. It’s uplifting to say the least and I’d love to meet you someday and shake your hand and treat you to a good meal and good coffee. Keep being yourself alright. I’ll honor my word next time I’m Home

I just walked for 3 Hours after my car broke down, its amazing how you stand out , how rare it's to walk through the country. Its also feels great, and slightly rebellious, i wish i hadn't to experience it from a skrewed car 👍🙈👍

Haha sorry to hear about the car but yes, it might look rather strange to see someone walking on an open road but to the person walking on the open road, it can seem like the most normal and natural thing that ought to be done more often! Hope you got the car sorted 🙏

derek. I;m 10 minutes from Leixlip we could have met there.Don't forget dinner is on me soon. I have absolutely loved this journey and everything it encountered along the way, which brings home the message that the simple things in life are the most important and for sure the ones we never forget. Occasionally I light one for myself but mostly I light them for people who I see to be suffering and I often pray for some of the names I see in this comment section. A rising tide lifts all boats, I wish you all light and happiness in what can feel like dark times 🙏
