I 100%'d Pikmin 4's Demo like an Idiot...

The Potato also got me as well, i thought you would meed White Pikmin to get it but apparently all Pikmin can dig up treasures if you got the Treasure Gauge

There were so many times when watching this where I just thought "Hey, why not read the tutorial when it's trying to tell you stuff" but honestly, watching you suffer was fun.

It still amazes me they made a character creator where you make your own captain, but at the same time make the most stylish captain the series has seen to date, i mean, something you clearly showed well

I swear that damn Potato was put there for this *exact* purpose, to screw with vets expecting the need for White Pikmin to dig up things that are buried.

I honestly just plain didn’t think about the fact that they could bring back fully buried treasure again

you dont have to get a certain day to learn swimming you just have to get the drowning oatchi cutscene and then the next day shepard will say they gave oatchi a bath and now he can swim i did this on my first day when speeding through demo on a 100% run

Everyone keep’s questioning why they can’t jump a simple ledge, but nobody questions how they can jump into a cave entrance

I also managed to get 100% on the demo. Tbh it was easy for me since I brought every treasure close to my base.

Oof the buried treasure… it almost got me too during my 100% attempt, thank goodness for Oatchi’s nose 😮‍💨 I spent 5 in-game days setting my run up. But I got a decent head start for when the full game comes out. Part of me wants to try again to shave off a day or two because I wanna try and beat Pikmin 4 in the limit of 30 days like the first game as a sort of personal challenge

I love how every time the word pikmin shows up he just has to sing it

I played the demo completing everything exept tge blue onion. I thought it was impossible. I then found out you could get it, and I made a new save. Basically did everything I did before. Same upgrades, more pikmin, same amount of time, but this time with 100% completion.

On one hand, I thought the 1% I was missing as well was because of not having walked through every corner of the map so it would look complete, so this seems like a more reasonable explanation On the other hand, OH C'MOM I GOTTA DO IT ALL AGAIN AS WELL

Ooooh boy, craziness insues. Honestly though, the biggest time I felt like an idiot was actually trying to speedrun the Deluxe True Arena in Kirby’s Return to Dreamland DX, which let me just say is a NIGHTMARE, it’s even worse than just going through it normally! You have to know the bosses attacks inside out, and take some very questionable strategies to beat them quickly, which is NOT easy to perform, and that’s coming from a guy that has speed-ran this game since I got the game.

dang, I didn't know you could learn swimming in the demo. I got my 100% in 5 days so it never came up

I hope there is a captain that lets you change the whistle sound, not that the sound is bad but think of having the option of the normal whistle and a car horn like pikmin 2.

its crazy how they decided to make the red pikmin the loading icon but made it blue.

it seems like the rescue corps entire colour scheeme is dependant on which colour you chose for your suit, thats pretty neat

Am I the only person who didn’t miss the potato? All you had to do was use Oatchi’s sniff ability.

This is mainly a me thing, but... I like using Brittany's character design and creating a Jr version of her, so she can pass the torch to the main heroine, who's name was Sunny. Pink hair, Brittany's face/ or Alph's face, pink spacesuit, makes sense since I'm making Brittany's twin older/younger sister. Oatchi was nicknamed Oatchi-chan/Poochy-chan due to the similar names that they have. Day 1: I created my main character, landed on a Planet, saved both Collin and Shepherd, and we get a Red Onion that Oatchi-chan/ Poochy-chan brought back, and we discovered Sparklium, the same form of Sparklium in Hey! Pikmin, and we got the ship fixed and working. Day 2: Sunny and Oatchi collected some raw material, bashed through the dirt wall since Oatchi became useful, and discovered the Last-Frost Cavern where she found Ice Pikmin, and also collected some Flarlic to add more Pikmin. She managed to rescue the team scientist, Russ. Working on the areas, she found various treasures, and opened up a shortcut. Collecting treasures and some Dandori later, she found the cave named Crackling Cauldron. Collecting the treasures and defeating enemies and rescuing a civilian, she missed one treasure and went back in. After a mercifully short trip back, she searched for the Yellow Onion with bringing back extra treasure, successfully bringing both back to the base. We almost had a close call with a treasure, but thank god they brought it back quickly enough. (Note: This is the time I drowned Oatchi/Oatchi-chan/ Poochy Oatch to get the ability to swim earlier so I can get the Doggy-Paddle early.) Day results: Today was quite a productive day. She acquired many treasures, and she is close to 1500 Sparklium. She managed to rescue the team scientist, Russ. She also rescued a civilian. Olimar's Voyage Log must have been received by other intrepid adventurers. Now, locating and rescuing other castaways has been added to our objectives list. Tomorrow, Russ will see what he can do with all the raw material she's collected. Day 3: Russ has figured out a way to make exceptional use of the raw material we have collected. They can be used to build bridges and climbing walls. They can also be used to make tools and suit upgrades. These will undoubtedly be useful. In fact, they can help her explore the rest of the Terrace. She grabbed the Charging Horn, Treasure Gauge, and The Survey Drone, and rescued the remaining civillians from the caverns and Dandori Day Care and the Dandori Battle. She barely was able to get the Blue Onion in time and got a new Pikmin! The Blue Pikmin! Day 4: Both Hawlo and Sunny made another Pikmin-related discovery. It seems that only 3 types of Pikmin can be out in the field at any given time. That's unfortunate! She'll have to be strategic when planning her expeditions from now on. Resuming on her mission... (This is where I've unlocked Oatchi's ability to swim in Water), she collected every single treasure in caverns, outside, including hidden ones with the help of Oatchi and her Pikmin. And with that, I've completed the demo! It was really fun to get a headstart for the first time, even though I had to sacrifice a day earlier to ignore the treasures, and plus, the treasure gauge helped a lot.

my favorites have always been yellow,white and pink and now the glow pikmin can be added to my favorite list,don't worry I still love all the pikmin colors,I've just over the years these have been my main favorite and all of the other colors are my secondary favorite

The potato was the last thing i ever guess. and my list is so long that you can see mold in the bottom of it

The headcanon theory of sparklium is that it's actually radiation, the same radiation that killed the humans. So the ship sucks the radiation out of objects and uses it as nuclear energy. 🤓
