I really like the colour scheme you use for your captions and overall design of your intro and out bumper slides..very top class. If you're in Florida, I'm hoping someone can make a video of the roads all around and through Disney World and perhaps the Kennedy Space Centre, (if that's allowed).

I'd invite you to continue south to Fort Myers, but we don't have much of a road network yet (in spite of population growth). Glad to see another Tampa video on YT though. :)
Great Video! Im in Tampa for an extended trip and enjoyed watching 275 end to end! Im trying to persuade my dad to drive me end to end! What song did you use? I like it!
Also put into perspective on how much freeway reconstructions/widenings happened in just 10 years alone down there; that northern 275/75 split only had 4 thru lanes and an auxiliary lane last time I passed through it! And every mile of I-75 outside of Tampa and south of the Turnpike (aside from ONE short causeway) was only 4 lanes wide until you hit Miami--- in 2007, maybe 2008!!! Now the part between the Turnpike and the Turnpike split is the only stretch not yet widened along I-75 from Alligator Alley and practically the Tennessee state line!!!
Haha dude I felt so relieved and impressed by the six laning of I-75... probably because I had just traversed I-10 in the panhandle which is well maintained but horribly boring.
+InterstateJD EXACTLY my thoughts on almost every mile of I-75 immediately outside of Miami back years ago! I-95's probably even worse now since the overwhelming majority of widening's done; think the I-4/U.S. 92 weave will be the final piece to be completed since the entire Int'l Speedway interchange's getting fully reconstructed...
What's up with the random cuts? There was one at 1:03, and another at 4:21. An interesting thing about the Sunshine Skyway was that in 1980, that was when a ship hit the bridge, and the central SB span collapsed, and the NB span had two way traffic with only two lanes. Yes, that means that you were crammed into one lane when crossing the bridge. Ever since the new bridge was completed in 1987, the central span of the NB bridge became the freeway, and the fishing piers are the remnants of the SB bridge.
Freaking A loved going to Florida as a kid! Certainly can't wait what FDOT will eventually be forced to do with ALL their major cities' freeways in the coming years (more HOT/all toll lanes or EPIC interchanges (such as a recently built 4-5 level stack in Miami and a 4 level one about to start coming up in Downtown Orlando))...
Thanks. Yeah they have some well made freeways here. Though I didnt see anything too impressive in person interchange wise, save for one stack at FL turnpike and Toll 429.
Nice video! Never been to Tampa, but how does the Sunshine Skyway compare to the bridge on I-295 in Jacksonville over the St. John's? Other than the two Chesapeake Bay Bridges here in the Mid Atlantic states, that I-295 bridge is probably the longest one I can remember being on.
Just looked up that bridge. I'd say its more impressive (east side of town) engineering wise but the Skyway looks nicer. Go to New Orleans to see some truly lengthy bridges.
Really West Central FL, not SW FL. That would be more Ft Myers/Cape Coral-Venice-Port Charlotte & Naples areas. I lived in Tampa for 11 yrs and went to High School there. Only south there would be USF University of South FL.
