I'm the designer of these kits. I gotta ask, Why not credit me or my site? Perhaps to save me from the wrath of GW? I'm not worried but in any case maybe next time could you reach out to the creator and see what their take is on it? Would have loved to do a collaboration with you as I have for other artists. 😊

He has said multiple times that he won’t do the credit because his videos are watched by GW and lots of the files were taken down which is why he had a patreon with a discord for crediting creators.

@@jesseharris974 Ive never heard of his channel before, new to me. It's less about not sharing it and more about not reaching out to ask. I don't think GW will pursue it because the appearance overall is more likened to WW2 tanks than their designs. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong but ultimately my gamble in the end. The designs have been around for years now including on RU-vid, so we'll see I guess. :)

I'm a mod on Sam's Discord and I can confirm his primary concern at the moment is protecting creators from GW backlash. The recent banwave resulted in a few unfairly pointed fingers blaming this channel and to be honest we're in a bit of a flux at the moment trying to work out how best to move forward promoting the talented creators while not putting their work at risk. Needless to say, within the Discord we'll definitely be steering brothers and sisters towards your site and the other real world designs you've Grimdarked up. BTW Any plans to do one of the funky interwar multi-turret jobbies? Like the Vickers Independent or the T28?

Hey yeah as said, he tries to protect from GW, personally i bought a good few of your models and i want to say god job, keep it up. Love the work it is absolutely beautiful. P.S.- i noticed you didn't have much for the ww2 style anti air, have you thought about using vehicles like the Wirbelwind/Ostwind from the ww2 side, or others for other ww2 style models

Works for me. Being a noobie I down loaded some traitors call scab fighters or something - then when I went back to look for any updates they were gone - no sign of them. Does that happen often. I remember you saying that if you see something you should d/load it right there and then. The whole printing thing is amazing.

Ive been enjoying your videos alot lately. Mainly because I just placed an order for my first 3d printer, and now Im going on a new adventure. I have a question though, that purple stuff you wash with... What is that? Its just, in my country, IPA is very hard to come by 😂😂😂

I like to stiffen the gauze with either watered-down modpodge or a matte varnish. It helps to really saturate the cloth before putting it on the model. Either before or after painting. I used to make "camo cloaks" for my figure this way, they dried almost plastic hard and accepted paint well.

You should look up water curing. For the big stuff I'm not sure it would help, but for minis its pretty amazing how fast and even you can cure with it. Edit- "Tanks, for the Apocalypse" is a tank based game that was just released

GW will still strike them for using the bolter or other guns templates. GW strikes proxies so no files are safe from them

The bolter is just a gun, that cannot be copyrighted. GW bullies and threatens people that give in out of fear, Gamza resisted and nothing happened because GW being greedy, they didn't want to pay for legal actions....

I know people blame the content creator(s), but the ire should be put on the overreaching of GW. They file and threaten on almost anything even tangiently related to their ecosystem, even public domain words. We really need to flood YT and everywhere else to bring attention to GW's bullying. It worked back when the author of Spot the Pink SM was bullied, GW had to shutter much of their social media when celebrities got involved.

You know, I was initially in the patreon for a while, but in my opinion there's not enough content that comes out in enough time to make it worthwhile, and in addition to that, the majority of the files that do become available aren't really relevant to what I am trying to do or what I want to do. So ultimately even though I want to support this guy, with me trying to keep my budget tighten it here, it's hard to do that and still support this dude

Bruh, Patreon isn't a sham. Sometimes supporting a content creator you like is more about just supporting them than getting something out of it. Its why when I do that I just throw 1$ patreon subs to people. Its a buck and I try and help someone out. That is what it is about. Now, for more money I would want tier based rewards but I am not gonna fret over a buck.
