Hello welcome to my channel, I originally started this channel to work on my pile of shame backlog of models and has evolved into looking at 3d printing for the hobby.
I 3d print a lot of my collection now and use this channel to showcase the different models available and the benefits of 3d printing for the wargaming tabletop community.
These are the 3 most well known factions, I'd really love to see armies for the less well known factions within the guard, like the Dragoons, or the angels!
GW and others provide a service but they want 350% mark price, because some folks will dish that out, good for them. but id still like to play so ima do what i got to do and not go broke. I simply wont enter any cash prize or high value tournys unless the organizers are fine with it. Some store simply want people to turn out and showing up is like all i got to offer sometimes haha. you could play this game with stick and rocks if your really wanted to, the models just make it waay more fun.
Another good video - love this format when you do it. May I suggest you take a trip to Newtownards and visit the NCG shop for a choice of paints that I dont think is equaled in NI. I'm boggled each time I go there.
You should check-out the IMHO most amazing guarsmen (and guardswomen sic!) which are the Firstborn guard from GoodGameWargame. They are basically Polish-Lithuanian Comminwealth IN SPACE and I love them so. I'd be honest I love his nidels so much that I actually overlook his atrocious organizational skills and many delays and besides OPR he is my only constant patreon beneficiary.
Any of the infantry units by Golden Dragon games. got myself a massive blob of US Sci-fi infantry. but recently they also started adding French and Japanse troops (and i have been told by the creator that the USSR will be getting its first releases this year)
Krieg probably as there is amazing STLs for them. After that the most fun one is Catachan Jungle fighters, they are pretty baddass lol. Knightsoul on cults does some amazing proxies that have Characters from the predator movies and everything lol.
For me..Valor Korps are what I chose.Adrian helmets variant. But the SpaceNam range is interesting as well. Also have a mini of Ciapas and Jurgen somewhere in the boxes..so the Walhalans would fit nicely there..and somebody please make me some Ghosts..with all the main characters😉
Going to check these sculptors out, but I have to be that guy to point out its cavalry, not calvary. The former being mounted fighters and the latter the hill Jebus was crucified on.
OK, not a 40k Guard regiment, but the Solar Guard from Red Makers are stunning. I also think their jungle fighters and Shock troops are the best out there.
Fantastic! Im a guards player myself, been wanting someone to "try" to print them...hard to find files for any offical/proper guards units that arnt altered. Would love to have seen ogryns! Should share the files links in the "group" 😉
@@TheCarlopareYeah he is pretty awesome, all his stuff is 1:1, he even has the extra arms so you can build both a melta and a plasma from the GW Vet Guardsmen kit.
@@Rex73777 they look good, only issue for me is they are mostly bits, and as i have zero gw models i would have to buy all the stuff seperate, body, heads, guns etc. looks like itd add up. with redmakers 1 file just gave me a ton of dudes i can mix and match
Do you know if it it's a decent idea to have the saturn 4 ultra on my bedroom if I use a fume extractor like yours + I have the printer inside a still air glove box?. I would like the toxicity to be close to 0% as I would be spending a lot of time in the bedroom My idea is to have everything on the Glove Box (Printer + cure/wash station + Tools)
I'm just about finished with a thousand points for grey knights and right now I'm trying to decide between doing iron warriors or sisters of battle and I've already found all the files I need I just need to get some money to pay for the resin for my brother to use in his printer for me but thankfully this weekend my brother and his fiance are going on a trip and they're going to have me watch the house and check on the cats and my brother is going to pay me in printing some models for me, because in his group of friends that when they get together every other Saturday to play no one uses chaos other than technically Drukari and another one of his friends that plays tyranids otherwise it's necron and space wolves and custodes
great vid! you and just vlad are the best vids for learning about 3d printing, why, because you guys keep it simple!! already hit the like and everything. i still dont have mine, ordered it yesterday, since its 12.03 now on elegoo got the mars 4....because it was on sale during prime day at 229....mars 3 was 221 figure ill go up one plus kit and everything..... anyhow long short.....on one other vid the guy said he managed to get 70 minis.....few big ones and about 30 fails in his one bottle of resin.......so im looking at hoping as a new comer to get at least 50 plus hopefully... love the way you mention the 'armies' only reason i got the printer was because its costly buying so many 'armies' from people off etsy. sorry for english, italian first canadian second. great vid!! sure you youtubers hear that way too much! :)
