I know you like doing this video buddy your first time with these kind of chips... With the non gold leg I tend to cut the legs off with snaps or whatever available and I still find myself doing a nitric leech first... To get rid of the base metal and silver I think I averaged around 5 something grams per pound the Gold Lake gold cap is definitely 7 or better...great job😁😁
Thanx brother!I have access to a large amount of nitric so I do not remove legs without gold. I've worked with this type of chips just did not make video before because the quantities were always smaller and I mixed them with ceramic processors, this is the first time I've got a higher amount in one tour for toll refine.
Don’t stop uploading these type of videos! I’ve collected several tons of vintage scrap and have been slowly recovering silver and gold because of help from you! We all appreciate it! Fun hobby for sure.

Just quickly, I hope you don't take this the wrong way: it is spelled 'Aqua Regia' and means King's Water. Called so because it dissolves only the so-called 'Noble' metals, and not the base metals. I would have used a grinder and removed the non-gold plated fingers from the sides of the chips before putting them in solution. Less base metal to dissolve. I would also put them through a small ball mill to crush everything to powder for easier gold recovery. Once again, a great video!
Thank you. It's always better to remove the base metal base if you have the time and possibilities, although I do not care about amount of acids for me, so I do not mind. The grind is good, although I've repeatedly grind ceramics to the small particles after-process once or two times and repeated and nothing In addition in gold, I think the grinding does not play an important role in gold amount!.But maybe I'm wrong!

Dusan i just want to let you know that thise lids that are silver looking not gold are nickle plated and on most if them there is a plating of gold under the nickel. Be careful ok i dont want you to lose gold ; )
Maybe Aqwaregia is oversatured, the color of the blue solution indicates a copper in solution. Additionally, add more Ar and will certainly be better.I'm sorry that you waited a little longer for the answer. I can not achieve, to much of obligations!

I siphoned off the blue liquid after testing negative with stannous and started with more at. Now all gold and metals are dissolved except a few legs. Denox and filtering in process now. New fluid is darkest yellow I've produced yet... 😎

Michel Vallaeys do you have any recycle yards or scrap yards out there? I’d recommend trying to buy from them, or post an ad online saying you will remove old electronics for free. Also I would drive to all the schools around you and ask if they have any old computers they want to get rid of for free!
Mostly I get from other people for processing, although I often buy it myself on local waste or junkyard. Depending on the plate and the price is different, from 2 euros to 5-6 euros per kilogram board!
They are also available at the grocery store. Another thing that Dusan likes to use is a Charmin plug. Basically you pack toilet paper as tight as you can in a cigarette shape and feed it into the bottom of your funnel.. Dusan mentioned that in a previous video. It is slow! But it's like everything else in this hobby - you need patients or your going to hurt yourself or someone else! Be safe and happy scrapping!

I simply use cheap coffee filters from local shops and at the bottom of the funel I always put a charmin plug from paper or fate, the process of filtering is slow,drop by drop, but this is not the job for people with thin nerves anyway :)
