Thank you for sharing, and showing to other people, that this is NOT way to go, so much mess, poisonous metal solution and acid vapour... some metal scraper (chisel) and hammer does better job, selecting only gold containing stuff. Or hear gun... THEN put into hydrochloric to get rid od solder... Now I see some later your videos doing just that with air hammer... 🙂 Good... I prefer being selective, but whatever you like...
Cast-iron frying pan with a 1/4 inch of molten solder in the bottom for through-hole. Air chisel on low with a wide blade for surface mount. Faster, no chemicals. Still need a fume hood, though, what with fumes from hot plastic and metal.
This is an interesting idea, but the mixture of metals and materials is going to make the whole thing a right mess. Levering parts off boards that are wet with a metal-laden acid solution while still partially in the solution is not a good idea. The process probably needs to be broken down into more steps, particularly to remove aluminium parts that are going to chew through the HCl first and fastest.
This would okay for doin small batches of ram sticks removal of chips and mlccs i assume you could filter the sludge out rreuse the acid for second go instead of discarding it
@alexz7111 Negative Ghost Rider. AR would dissolve the Gold , which this clearly did not. Try again less ya make me regret askkin' fer yer educated opinion ta begin with.... :-) L8R G8R
@@nato7.62mm4 For you, dump redneck is aqua regia. Would not tell you what should the mixture consist. It's just not pure HCI! Btw do you know what is - Kur za nato? :D F gipsy redneck..
Are chemicals free on your planet? ^^ Because with this approach you have already wasted up to 20% of the expectable profit on HCl. What is next? Blowing the rest on dissolving all the base metals in nitric? ;)
This is an instructional video of how NOT to refine e-waste for precious metals. With the advent of the internet you would think research would have been done prior to trying this.. lol this is Just plain stupid.
