I-820 & I-35W TEXpress Express Lanes - Fort Worth - Texas - 4K Highway Drive 

I grew up there in the 80s and stil have old photos of it being a 4 lane road and traffic backed up for miles.

I enjoyed this TEXpress video also.

I drove the newest section of I-35W TEXpress, Segment 3C (from US-81/US-287 north to Alliance Boulevard) on July 2nd. I did it on a Sunday to minimize my toll costs (since I only wanted to drive it for fun). While the express lanes are open, there is still some construction along the corridor. This includes an incomplete onramp, currently under construction, to the northbound I-35W TEXpress Lanes just north of Heritage Trace Parkway. I was surprised that the ramps to and from SH-170 were open, especially the ramp from the northbound I-35W general purpose lanes to eastbound SH-170 (as that ramp looked like it incomplete not that long ago).

No wonder Texas spend so much money building tolled express lanes on many of its highways!

I think I like the TEXpress lanes in Dallas better. The one TEXpress road made you feel like you were in some type of vortex.

What you had as Spur 280 was US 287. Spur 280 is a short freeway spur going west of I-35W that ends splitting into 4 one-way streets in a fashion similar to US 60/87/287 in Amarillo. Spur 280 ends at that split.

Great video! Do you have toll tags for all states with toll roads, or do you pay by mail? Just curious.
