The Dan Ryan Expressway and Bishop Ford Freeway, as we call these stretches of I-94, are often the way a lot of people prefer to get to Indiana to avoid the tolls on the Skyway and IN Toll Road... looks like you're setting this up for a Tri-State Tollway (I-294) drive :)

As a ex-trucker, this drive never gets old; I-94 Westbound is the best approach on a skyline in the world.

The Dan Ryan Expressway is much better since they rebuilt it several years ago. Now they need to do the same to the Bishop Ford Freeway to eliminate the flooding that occurs in the left lanes during anything heavier than a mild drizzle. Also, there are plans for the Chicago Transit Authority to extend the Red Line past 95th Street to 130th.

13:21 what a surprise, a JB Hunt driver cutting someone off. I remember being on the road with my dad in his truck 40 years ago, and him saying how bad JB Hunt drivers were, I see they haven't changed.

I remember when it was under construction while I was in high school for the newly added local lanes . Omg it was a nightmare on here then but it’s a nice ride now . Just don’t let there be a shooting. The whole expressway gets closed in the area of it and it’s always gridlocked.

Ahhh, the Dan Ryan Expressway, with a max of 16 lanes. The Bishop Ford Freeway looks like it needs some serious refurbishment. What's really scary is the Chicago drivers, I'm doubting if it's worse than Houston or not 😂

If you stayed straight on Illinois 394, that was where I spent most of my high school years at in the south suburbs . Good times ❤️

The rebuilt dan ryan expressway looks a lot better now. This route cuts straight through indiana and will get you to the interstate 80 and 90 and to the ohio turnpike

12:34 did the 2nd truck in your lane (black trailer) start losing a tire here? Start seeing black chunks coming from his right front, and maybe a tire pop near the end of this ramp? Edit : 15:01 I guess not, because that truck is driving fine
