When random white people ask me if a dish is spicy (this is happened to me like 2 times in grocery stores recently) I have to tell them no BUT they shouldn't trust my opinion because of my spice tolerance lol I really never know
I’m the same way, I’d eat something ‘spicy’ and someone asks me if it’s “bad or not” and I’d say “nah it’s not hot it’s just got a little bit of kick for flavor” and they’d try it and immediately start dying Like one of my favorite hot sauces is made with Carolina reapers and it’s the perfect amount of spicy to me and I like to get other people to try it because I like sharing good foods and if it happens to be too hot for them then I get to watch them suffer, normally it’s the suffering because while I could eat a spoonful of it without much issue, the one time I got my friend to do the same thing I did with a spoon full of it he started sweating
@@youraveragedumbass2my indonesian aunt is a huge fan of spicy she always put a ton of chillies on her food. She said she can’t eat too spicy or her breastmilk will taste spicy for her baby 😂
I don't mean for this to sound weird but it feels like there's so much love between you guys, like you all truly appreciate each other. I wish I had a family like this!
My younger self would say I wish I had a family like this but one day I will and simply seeing it from at least one family makes me content that true love exists 🥰
When I was around that old, my parents took me out to eat, and my dad's plate had a lemon wedge on it. I was fussing and reaching for it, so he's like "if she wants it so bad, let her have it" lol I loved it!! Even now, he still gives me the lemon if it's on his plate ❤️
I’m Mexican and when my brother was around 2 my mom would make him tostadas with beans, sour cream and cheese. One day she accidentally put salsa on his bc she wasn’t paying attention and mind you, she makes her spicy. He ate it with no issue and we didn’t realize until he was about to have his second one. He’s 13 now and has a higher spice tolerance than me, an adult.
It feels a little weird to say, but watching these videos of you spending time with your family makes me wish I had a family like this. I never pegged myself as the kind of person to want kids or a spouse, but as I grow older and see happiness like this in others, I find myself wanting it more these days. Very heartwarming
Be careful what you wish for and be content with what you have. You are loved by the most High and you are where you are because of Him. All these Instagram and RU-vid videos are fake. They only show you what they want. Never are there videos of screaming or crying or fighting. They’re fun to watch and that’s wonderful they enjoy their love, but you have just the same amount if not more because you don’t feel the need to validate it by having a RU-vid channel.
@@natalyd9674 This family seems pretty normal and real to me. Of course nobody is going to record the screaming and fighting. That would be weird. This family records normal things that I would do with my family though. Not fake at all.
I'm American and my family has always enjoyed spicy food. Or so we thought. I married an Indian and found out really quickly some things are just insanely spicy but also a lot of Indian chillies build up in spice the more you eat the dish, like in the moment. But you also build a tolerance really quickly if you eat it regularly, unlike with the chillies I grew up with. So after a few years together I have a much higher tolerance than my parents and sister. When we all go out to eat Indian food together my parents let my husband and I order for the table. It's only then I will notice my dad's forehead is sweating and I'm just like "oh is that too spicy?!" 😂 I honestly never believed I could eat anything too spicy for my dad because when I was a kid he would order the spiciest options at Mexican restaurants.. but it's just a whole different type of spice. Even my mother in law can't handle jalapeños but she can handle Indian chillies like a fried mirchi (it's comparable to ghost pepper on the scoville scale) which would absolutely kill me I just know it. But a jalapeño popper makes her sweat.
Jeannie Mai has a youtube video discussing weaning with her daughter's paediatrician. I learned from her that it's completely safe to introduce stronger spices or condiments to babies' foods as long as they're old enough to wean. Of course, not Hot Ones amounts of spice, but regular level spice is perfectly fine!
When my son was around that age, I was eating something spicy, and he took it out of my hand and ate it. I just stared at him waiting for him to start crying, but he just wanted more. Can I just say, proud mama moment. I absolutely love spicy foods!
I have my own little bubba, almost two years old, so seeing this little man reach his milestones makes me emotional 😭 ♥️ he’s so cute trying out new foods and learning to eat.
I’ve had this issue so many times. My dad has an incredibly low spice tolerance and I have an incredibly high spice tolerance. This video is actually funny because one of his favorite foods is bonefish inspired bang bang shrimp and I accidentally make it too spicy sometimes.
When he reached for more spicy food it reminded me of my oldest son. That child came out loving spice. Figures, the only food I could keep down was Mexican and to this day he loves it.
Stoppp I love your videos so much. It's always so genuine and fun to watch! I'm a relatively young grad student right now but this makes me want to stop after my masters and start a family of my own haha
Babies tastebuds aren’t fully developed yet so they can tolerate spicy foods. Learned this when my 2 year old grabbed a wad of wasabi off one of the plates at a sushi restaurant 😬🤦🏾♀️ I thought he was eating some gyoza until I noticed what was missing.
i was just watching adam the whole time and goddamn he's such a hungry and go getter baby. just like "yeah gimme my food or i get it myself. oh, and i don't want these things *drops bread on mom* "
Once my uncle had whiskey in a cup, then my aunt assumed it was water & used it in baby formula 🤦♀️ So spicing a kid is bad but at least she didn’t poison her child with literal alcohol like my poor baby cousin 😭
Why are your videos have subtitles? You speak English perfectly... Too funny! I need to start putting subtitles on my videos or you guys couldn't understand me. We saw you in Arlington and passed by you in Asian Time Squares on Tet of this year. 😁
