I was arrested and charged for going into a public skatepark that had the gate locked. It was during the parks open hours, but the park rep was lazy and didn’t go unlock it. He is also the one who pressed charges for not doing his job. The dumb things they waste time on.
Dude that sucks. I got my first job because I broke into the skatepark before it was open to the public after being built and some guy was there and I smoked a bowl with him, and then like a month later I interviewed for the skatepark job with the city and he was the parks and rec director for the city who was in charge of hiring. You got punished and I got my dream job.
There is one part, three versions and each version is exactly similar. For a car this part costs 10, for a boat 100 and for an airplane 1000. You'd be surprised how much money is wasted on the most dumb shit ever it wont ever make sense.
Keen is such a great example for skateboarders. Be respectful and truthful, you can be a skateboarder and still be a good person towards others. Hope this shines the light for all the young kids out there.

Our law system is a business model and they aren't hiding it, cops have quotas, every time someone's goes to court the state makes thousands of dollars, every day your in jail the state gets paid Aswell this does not reflect morality only greed and pettiness. murders thief's etc. crimes that actually hurt people do deserve punishment.
Thanks for sharing this, I heard some rumblings of what was going from Ginner and im glad it got resolved (pretty much) as best it could. I could have easily been on the session or in a similar situation and I get so nervous about this type of stuff. From what I understand is if was me an Australian with a Work Visa, they don't really bother to take the next steps after the arrest and I would get deported and never allowed back to the US
This is maybe one of the most important videos for skateboarders I've seen. If you make a career out of street skating, things like this will happen. Just no one talks about it.

Thats crazy i work for a fence company my self $1800 is insane at moment but i didnt see how it was set up before i do deal with these types of cable style fences they may have re set that post not allowing to much tension to but put on wires and that support post is there till its fully dried so if they are returning a second time i could see the possibility of new hardware being installed which does kinda make sense for higher price but if that is just how they are leaving it its done then thats terrible glad it was dismissed though 👍👍💪💪

Crazy story! I will say that, if anyone else finds themselves in this situation, the best thing to do is shut up and call a lawyer. You don't need to answer any questions. It was good that he got off pretty lightly with just a fine, but it doesn't always work out like that. You don't need to be an asshole, respectful is fine. But you shouldn't be chatting with cops because everything you say can and will be used against you. Also, if you've never been in trouble with the law before, it's a good idea to put a criminal lawyers number into your phone just in case.
Wowzers, people are crazy. I had a lady call my work last week over a comment I wrote on Facebook. I quoted south park and some lady I don't know tried to get me fired and I never even responded to her. I just wrote a joke, but I guess there's no free speech anymore.
Mad Props for getting out without any actual charges, but I think it’s kinda Fuct U got pinned for someone else’s actions and no disrespect to the officers involved, but the ppl that actually destroyed that property have gotten away free as a bird and U paid for it. I’m not sure that’s how the judicial system is supposed to work, just saying. 🤷♂️ It saddens me that even when ppl do right (as U did), those who don’t aren’t held accountable for their actions. 🤦♂️

a good spot to do a little diy thing would be leland park in san pedro if your not aware where that is it is around the corner from channel on black hill so if you go up gaffey towards summerland or summerlin both sides of gaffey is leland park but the left side is pretty much abandoned for decades now the city doesnt even mow the lawn sometimes for 3 or 4 months at a time theres ways into the park between the houses on black hill but some residents have put locks to the park because back in the day it was a gangster hangout all night in those dead ends to the park. anyway no one goes to this park ever cept homeless people you can probably build a half pipe and no one would know for months besides that otherside of the hill pretty good hill to go down that ends at the parkign structure on pacific across from the occupation center

I went to cincinatti state once to skate because there is a few really cool spots there and a parking cop tried to confiscate my board and like he had to give it back. lol
you can hear way more air traffic in this one than the actual video. I am surprised thats still up. edit: skate videos for profit is tough i bet redbull gets sued all day long.
Kinda strange how their top concern was not being filmed while doing some sketchy sting op outside their jurisdiction.....definitely nothing way more concerning going on out in CA that need cops attention

I dig your work and videos. But really, you are bound to get in trouble when you take apart someone’s shit like you own it. Put yourself in the same position; someone comes and takes your shit apart without your permission and against your wishes. I’m glad you got this straightened out, but use some common sense man.
You are being too nice about all that happened. The entire process starting with the cops coming for you for this is dumb. You are likely being nice about it because you know the cops are watching and may take it out on you just like they did here.

You got away because there were others that came after you. How would you feel if some came to your room, removed the door, got in, jumped and down on your bed, put the door back, and left.
i have been thinking and have commented on other peoples channels. If you skate and do diy stop posting the incriminating evidence on youtube. Next is the Dan and powell. It's cool to skate and make diy but its super lame to document it for views. Skating is vandalism at times and as a group we should have already realized we'd eventually get caught posting videos constantly of angle grinding skate stops off spots ect
