I’ve definitely had that thought before watching these. God how awesome would that be. I think a lot of really bad drunks just do not understand how terrible they are when they get drunk. Might help getting sober for some people like this, especially if you’re young.

Some may not understand it, because they can have a few drinks and not have another for a few months. They call it a "Choice". Some may call it an "Addiction" because they have fought it and won the battle. Those who have fought years worth of battles, and never won still have this disease. Those who won the final battle are either dead, or know they can never have one drink again.

Some areas do have the ability to be able to do just that. In ths alternative sentencing program in pa I had to go to dui classes one of the classes they had a way to get arresting video and you got extra credit for letting all watch it. Jk about the extra credit lol but for real about the video!

My friends brother was this way, he had so much alcohol in him that his eyes looked faded and washed out, I've never seen eyes like that since, it was scary. He kept talking about the care and feeding of his pet which he said was in the middle of the living room. He went on and on about how he groomed the pet and fed it a diet of cracked corn and beef tips etc. The only thing in the living room was a bicycle. I was certain this guy was at a level to succumb to alcohol poisoning and I convinced his sister to call an ambulance. I honestly felt at the time that he would have died if they didn't get him to a hospital, he was that drunk. It amazes me that people would drink to this level where it could endanger their lives, and for what?

I was hoping they'd tell us what his BAC was. To insist that someone's home is actually a bar (never mind not knowing what state he's in), I'd have put it somewhere in the 0.3 vicinity. I'm thinking definitely on the verge of alcohol poisoning.

I bartended at an Irish pub in Boston for a few years, I've had to deal with an Irish guy who went ballistic because Oasis was playing on the stereo and somebody played a song on the jukebox.....which cut off Oasis. Cops weren't involved, but the bouncers pretty much had the same ordeal on their hands as the cops in the video did

Got a couple examples of this kinda thing happening to friends- my friend once tried swipe into the underground on a random wall to just like a shop or cafe for like 2 mins before realising lol and another time was at the station gates but was using id card instead of train ticket n couldnt work out why it wudnt open lol, another time my m8 got on the train alone then 5min later everyone else got on he had accidentally walked to the wrong train station so was 1 stop away from everyone else n never realised lol :)

While the officers acknowledged that nonsense instead of cuffing him right away.

I laughed too until I remembered confusion like that can actually be a sign of a serious head injury. Thankfully this was just black out drunk.

This guy was high as well as drunk - he even admits it around 16:34. That’s why he was hallucinating & still continually yapping despite being that impaired.

This is a glimpse into the most primal basic functioning of a person, this level of intoxication.. It's hella fascinating because you get to see what the person is _really_ like when all of the social skills, higher reasoning faculties, shame and introspection / patience goes out the window and all that's left is the absolute base level of the person.. If the person is hella pleasant and fun then you have a genuinely good soul who's life up to that point was filled with positive culture and sincere peers with no reason to be on guard with their true self, because that true self was nurtured and accepted as opposed to a mean drunk and in that case you're dealing with a damaged individual who has gone through a lot of pain and confusion in their life, their true self having been abused to the point of the psyche installing programs or apps to block the fragile and easily flinched basis of their mind at its most primal and least tactful in their interactions.. My basis for this, why I state it as factual rather than merely an hypothesis or idea of what's going on here in this situation is the fact hat I did pass Psych 102 and got actual transferable credits to any university, as well as a crash course like prison boot camp for the study of human behavior with the emphasis on motivation and thought process breakdown for the better part of an entire year straight, which I won't explain further, but that's how I know what's going on

It’s hard when consuming alcohol is proven to impair judgement. Limits on quantities one can purchase at a time would ensure this doesn’t happen. No responsible adult needs 18-30 beers or 1.75L or hard liquor or wine.

even a small amount of weed to a drunk person can have similar effects, the combo does something weird like its as if it multiplies the power of drink by about 5 the problem being its entirely possible to go wayy past ur limit by drinking first then smoking when alcohols already in you cos it gets stronger all at once so what level a person can usually handle before blacking out sick can be totally surpassed using this method of not smoking until after youv drunk :) its one the easiest ways to get past sickness and into that memory loss drunk stage where you wake up at home in bed somehow and ur not sure how u got there lol

I was Ubering once and driving two guys home. The first guy was about this drunk, but more of a sleepy muttering to himself kind of drunk. His buddy was cool. When we got to the first guys house, he acted like he was asleep and refused to get out of my car. Thankfully his buddy helped get him out, where he just collapsed on his lawn and started shouting. His wife came out and started yelling at him, his buddy gave a tip and apologized and said I should just leave. Well the next day I get a call from Uber about someone lost a wallet, and sure enough I found it on the floor (which was amazing because I gave like 5 more rides that night). He gave them a location for me to bring it and I drove 20 minutes to a Jamba Juice. The guy walked out, snatched his wallet out of my hand, and walked away without so much as a thank you. Some people are just assholes whether they're sober or drunk.

I look female (was born one but I am gender-fluid) and worked at a major sporting goods and hunting retail chain. The disrespect I got from the customers was honestly disgusting, from the morons who would (unintentionally) point a display firearm at me, the idiots who would hand me a loaded handgun to test the fit of a holster they wanted to buy (it takes less than a minute to remove the magazine, clear the chamber, and put an empty magazine in. You could also ask if I could use the same model I have on display to test the holster. Don't hand me a loaded firearm and get pissy with me when I get mad at you for not clearing it), to the belligerent ones who argue with me when I won't let them have handgun ammunition in a caliber they don't own or refuse to let them handle a display or purchase a firearm because I either 1) determined they were underage, 2) had reasonable suspicion they were under the influence of drugs/alcohol, 3) they didn't show me the proper ID, or 4) they didn't own the caliber of handgun they were attempting to purchase ammunition for or didn't have a permit for our state (we do not have reciprocity with other states). The worst offenders? Parole and probation officers. A few were from out of state and thought their badge meant something in my shop. A badge doesn't mean shit, I'm not breaking the law for someone who can't be assed to follow the law themselves. If anything, I'm taking down their name, pulling footage, and notifying the county sheriff's department (which I did multiple times. One of them turned out to be a sting operation looking for people who would sell illegally lol). If a couple of my oldest friends are cops in a neighboring jurisdiction and show their permits every time they come in, then strange law enforcement and DOCCS officers can show theirs too. If not, they can take it up with the sheriff's department or their supervisors when they hear from me. Then there were the asshats who thought I didn't know what I was talking about because I resemble a woman even when presenting male. No Boomer, my 19 year old trainee doesn't know more than me. That's why he's calling his supervisor over. Hi. I'm the supervisor - the one you brushed off five minutes ago because you thought I don't know the difference between an Aberdeen hook and a Baitholder hook and didn't want to accept that I was telling you the Aberdeen would have been a mistake because you said to my trainee (and this is sadly a direct quote) "some dumb d**e thinks she knows about fishing for catfish". There was also the 19 year old who pitched an ACTUAL TANTRUM when I wouldn't let him see a display firearm because he was underage (we do not sell to anyone under 21, no exceptions. This includes handling displays). He leaves and HIS MOM shows up a few hours later wanting to buy the same firearm. Thanks, enjoy that visit from the feds. The paperwork made me cry because of how much there was and how complicated it was. Like just let me fistfight one per week in the parking lot, no weapons. Maybe better pay too.

For effin real man. My dad is a drinker, almost every day, in the evening after work, 3 Great Lakes Lager bottles in the counter and all empty. Somehow I’ve only ever seen him go full drunkard once at home, but his brain is just floating in beer in his head probably. Luckily he’s not insane enough to drink before driving or going out, but it’s still so embarrassing. It’s eroding his ability to remember things and he gets angry so easily. He won’t change. My mom is one of those. I remember times where she’d show up to our school drunk as causing a scene and even thinking going to jail was a better idea than paying a few bucks for a taxi fare.

I’ve always said there should be a permit to purchase alcohol that can be revoked for certain crimes/mental illness and ensure alcohol does not fall in the hands of those underage.

They put certain people on lists and remove them off of certain prescription drugs whenever it’s found out someone is abusing them, so they should do something similar with alcohol to some degree. Alcohol is one of the most dangerous drugs, yet it’s legal & the easiest one to obtain.

The hospital I used to work in had curtains on a lot of the rooms in the ER. They should have at least closed the door in the room this guy was in.

i’ve been to the hospital once for alcohol and i just couldn’t stop crying and the nurses were hella rude but i honestly can’t blame them lol

Not just alcohol. This guy was high as well as drunk - he even admits it around 16:34. That’s why he was hallucinating & still continually yapping despite being that impaired.

No joke, I was in the ER in the middle of the night earlier this year, and a mother/son duo a few doors down was yelling like this at the nurses. It was difficult to sleep already, but those two made it worse. They had to bring 5 officers to forcibly remove them.

I've only spent the night in the hospital once. I had a TBI and someone was yelling, and my head was POUNDING. and then she stole my phone charger while I was asleep. I was so pissed.

Hope they’ve given you effective treatment & your tumour doesn’t recur. And yes, as a Paramedic I can guarantee that these people lose their entertainment factor fast

@@allisonjames2923 thank you. It was a benign hemangioblastoma, a cerebellar tumor not likely to grow back. Had a 4 month post up MRI and everything looks great, but I do still have some residual effects. Now the big challenge is the pancreatic cancer they found at the same time as the brain tumor. The treatment plan starting out is for 6 months of chemo, and if it's effective, surgery to remove what's remaining. I'm almost at the halfway point, 3 months of chemo with my first scan to check progress on Dec 20, and go over the results with my oncologist on the 29th. Up until then I was doing well, just doing my chemo and going about my life. Now that the scan is scheduled, the fear and anxiety are crippling at times.

Ive had 2 brain surgeries and have also been in the ER many times. I agree with you. Being so sick and having to listen to this fool would be horrible. Hope you're doing well.

Well some of those cops couldve left a long time ago. Why in the hell 7-8 cops are in the hospital room with one guy handcuffed in a chair is beyond me

If it was a house with little children sleeping or a mother alone, it could be scary, such a dude on your porch. Hope he apologised to the homeowner and hospital, when sober again...

Depends I have a buddy who can't look you in the eyes and won't talk to people outside our group like almost at all. But when drunk... You can't shut him up, he's loud, will talk to literally anyone and has no problem with eye contact. He's not rude or annoying like this just a big goofball acting stupid but in a much more funny way. Never violent or aggressive just looking to have fun.
