No matter how futuristic the war. Digging a trench your enemies can't easily pass over is your best option. Digging a hole is always a viable strategy.
You brought so many memories of me playing fallout 3 on ps3 back in 2012. I didn’t try to plat it, just wanted to complete as much quests as I could and finish dlc”s. Unfortunately, this was my friend”s jailbroken ps3, so I played a pirated version of the game with seemingly no updates and fixes. That led to quest locking in point lookout and mothership zeta dlc”s. Also, in some areas of anchorage the console went single-digit fps on me (and in a lot of other areas too actually). It was such an experience, but funny to remember after all those years. Great job on this video and getting the platinum, keep up the good work😊
I played alot of Fallout 3! But never tried going Platinum. I really hoped they announced a Fallout 3 remake last week but alas... Keeping myself with making Fallout music in the meanwhile and checking channels like yours ^^
I don't understand the clamoring for a remake of Fallout 3 or NV. Most people want the same game using a Fallout 4 skin and mechanics, but this would just make it Fallout 4 in the Capital Wasteland. I understand the clamoring for London, Miami, or a new Fallout 5 but I don't understand why it's necessary to remake Fallout 3 or NV, those games and stories are already made and told, and they did it BETTER than anything coming out today.. I don't see a necessity to go back and "fix" anything to make it "better" unless its a graphical makeover. Mark my words if these games are "remade" anything more than a graphical upgrade, Bethesda WILL RUIN THEM 💯% no doubt about it. The remake hype is WACK, yo!
@@porkflaps4717 all I want is a graphical update. No changes at all. I would love to play 3 or NV with modern graphics. Playing either game with their old graphics is a nostalgic experience that can’t be matched though
I think my all time favorite memory was learning how to perform, and then successfully executing the Anchorage "Bring all the Sim gear to reality" glitch. I found if you used the ammo dispensers in the base, then dropped all the ammo, you could get more, you could do something similar with the weapons that the guy gives you. If you'd carefully placed a corpse in the pod at just the right place, you could mash the activation button as the Sim was ending and open it's inventory, this would happen just before your inventory was wiped, and you could dump all the Sim gear into the corpse. This gave you as much ammo as you were willing to farm for in the Sim, as well as weapons and armor (including a gauss rifle) that took absolutely no durability damage.

That is fantastic this is Ps3, I have Fallout 3 and FNV for Ps3 and I have yet to play them on the system. I was kindof hoping to start a super glitched/bugged run on each game until they become unplayable. I really enjoy the crazy bugs but if it slows down significantly I'll probably stop the run....
There's so many times the slaves quest is ruined because when you tell them they're good to head to the memorial they never show up cause they either died or got stuck somewhere in the metro tunnels
If you didn’t accidentally kill one of the VIPs for the mission “Strictly Business” without you even knowing about it, you did not play Fallout 3 AT ALL. (By the way, W video. It actually inspired me to get a brand new copy of Fallout 3 and attempt to get every trophy for it. Keep up the good work, man!)
My go to is 1 playthru as a good character and i just quicksave before the morale achievement lvls and then go on killing sprees to get the neutral and bad achievements before reloading the save
That's hilarious I just made it to the part you did this. I watched another guy do a platinum vid on this game and said the fact that he had to re play the game 3 times to get all those achievements ruined the game for him I was so disappointed

Fallout new vegas's platinum trophy with dlc next? Took me 5 playthroughs game runs smothly for 4 or 5hrs before locking up before i save turn off and clear cache i only need the 50 star sarsap caps, old tyme brawler, and desert survivalist trophies til 100%. From my experience fallout new vegas runs better than fallout 3 on ps3
I won’t lie I hated 4 achievements three being the neutral achievements and the forth being the behemoth achievement because the kill was always stollen from me and my saves were messed up or I just sucked at the fight stopped playing and when I picked the game back up I always restarted my play through
@@Trofees sadly the evil and good were easy to do, neutral achievements, your always better off ignoring every main mission, doing the operation anchorage dlc, don’t bother rescuing the sim troopers, yanking the intel briefcases, try and max your guns use the Chinese assault rifles and the power armor ditching the battle in the bunker, and just go around collecting the bobble heads, collect enough assault rifle ammo so you can deal with the deathclaws in the sanctuary and old olney, then sell all that you can go hit point lookout, skip the main quest and do the Chinese spy, and the research vessel quest, after that point well, hit up the hidden ghoul combat zone in lookout and from that you better get a spread sheet ready to start calculating karma points

hey if u gonna do new vegas there is a mod called MAPMO- Main and pause menu overhaul that adds the steam achivements for the base game and dlc so u can use Viva new Vegas (which is a modlist that makes the game stable) and still get the achivements

If not I just find it amazing you were able to tolerate the response time of those old PS3 server blades. Am i the only one who likes Fallout 3 more than Fallout New Vegas? I know New vegas is superior in every way, but i have more fun with Fallout 3, F4 is bad and f76 even worse.

Same here. Are you late in the game? Delete all your saves, except the one you’re using. Turn off auto-save. When you save the game, create a new save and then delete the old one. I recommend selling all the items you don’t need, even the items you have in storage. Once your save file gets too big the game just can’t run well.

Also, I always hated how Fallout3 made super mutants to be dumb as bricks, which was simply not true for everyone.
@@hhhooorrrssseee idk. He was put in a cell that was once occupied by a female and there are holotapes that say he was a man, and his name was Shelton. The holotapes are cut content but you can find it online

I think that platinum is a really stupid thing in games. I play games to have fun, not to do things that are far from enjoyment, far from logic, and far from benefit. My style of playing is: I complete the main story and complete most of the side quests that I find enjoyable and that add to the game. The rest of the collecting and research is literally bullshit. If I'm going to waste my time at least I'm going to waste it on something fun and not stupid.
I'm sorry but whoever introduced robot humans or synths in Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 should be fired its one of most useless story devices I've seen used in any video game story MY Sims 3 characters have more emotion and story than the Synths lore heck Nuka Cola a fake drink has a more interesting lore and stories than some human clone robot this bootleg wanna be terminator quest needs to be banned from Fallout lore
