Haha nearly lost my eye sight in one look. 🤣 I want to tackle all the bulbs at some point as I just prefer LED, especially indicators, headlights and reverse lights. 😊
Wiper delete is a bad idea. Can’t understand why people do this. I had the indicator bulbs in my R/S. looked great. Those stick on bits will fall off 😂. Look forward to seeing your progress
Looking good pal. Sweet ride. You not wanting the front sidelights from Autobeam? There pretty good and as you can guess, very bright for the size of them.
Man i'm jealous of the ZS styling. im picking up my first mk3/ford next week so i'll be starting mods. its also a 1.6 tdci but unfortunately its only the zetec :/. defo getting the exhaust done, yours sounds great. needs a remap, then i guess i should look into an st line body kit. do you know if all the Zetec S or ST mods fit the 2012 Zetec? im assuming it will be the same fitment but not sure. loving your vids. need more lol cheers for any help dude.
Amazing to hear you’re picking one up soon! You’ve got to be careful of the pre facelift and facelift models they’re different and may not have panels or kits that fit. The ST and Zetec S have different body kits as well so just make sure you double check everything before buying. More videos soon thanks for watching 😊🙏🏼
For the LED autobeam indicator bulb do you need a resister for them. Cos before i tried LED bulbs for the indicators and they started to flash really fast.
Nice man, I got the spoiler extension from Maxton. It’s listed under the ST-Line, but the ST-Line and the Zetec S spoilers are the same. Just make sure you don’t order ST as that’s a different spoiler. Hope this helps. 😊
@@xiolage thanks for quick reply! I just bought a focus zetec and want to modify little bits to it. I’m also going to order the led mirror indicator bulbs from there to see if that strip you have on the mirror is brighter
Hi mate. I have the same car in black, been looking for a spoiler extension that fits, does the one for the st line facelift fit? It’s the only one I can find close to this model
Is that the Zetec S wing you have? Or is it a ST wing? I'm shopping around for a new spoiler for my '12 Titanium and love the extension you got for yours.
This is the ZETEC S rear wing. The spoiler lip is from Maxton Designs, it's currently listed under the "MK3.5 ST-Line". They are the same spoiler but for some reason Maxton don't list it under the MK3. 😁
@@xiolage Awesome, thank you! I'm from across the pond (in the US) so I never got any Zetec S design goodies here, and I'm a sucker for the way it looks lol. That being said, might you know any sources that have the rear valance you've got (the Zetec S one)? I've had no luck finding any that will actually ship to the US and I'm desperate! 😂
That’s awesome to hear you’re all the way across the pond! I know loads of breakers but like you said none that will ship to the US. Hopefully you can source one soon, they do look epic! 😜
Very envious of the spoiler cap mate I tried Maxton for mine and they told me they don’t do one for my vehicle so you can imagine my joy when I saw yours have you got a link for it please it looks amazing
@@xiolage I emailed Maxton many months ago and they pointed out that the spoiler for mine is rounded where there spoiler cap only fits the more square edge which left me gutted so instead I opted for a spoiler riser from delta styling there quite good
Yes it did, I ended up taking it to a wrapping company who wrapped it all for just under £90. From my experience the removal of these required a full door strip down to access the fixings. 😊
@@xiolage Thanks for getting back to me! I have one last question; does your engine fan usually stay on for a few minutes after a trip out? Hard to find the consensus on how normal this is
This will only happen in diesel vehicles when it was in the middle of doing a DPF regeneration. A quick Google on DPF regeneration will bring you up to speed. It’s completely normal. 😊👌🏼
The ST spoiler cap doesn’t fit as it’s a much more squared off spoiler however, they list another one under the ST-Line name which will fit a Zetec S. Hope this helps 😊
It is possibly however not worth the time and money. You’ll have to not only change the unit but the fan unit, install all the temperature sensors and rewire to accommodate all the new kit. ☹️
