I ALMOST ENTERED ONE CHANCE | HOW TO CHOOSE A MATERNITY HOSPITAL IN NIGERIA

I may have paid attention to their antenatal services but going beyond to ask for a tour and recommendations, that’s just beyond me. Thank you for this video! ✨✨✨

Thank God you got a good hospital. I had my 1st baby in a general hospital in Houston, and i felt like i was in an hotel. I went home the 3rd day after i had my baby. There was a time, before the C-section, baby’s fetal heartbeat went flat, about 10 nurses and doctors rushed into my room, and i was scared cos i didn’t know what happened. They turned me around, put me on all fours, massaged my body, and did all sorts, before the heartbeats came back on. I was awake throughout the procedures, and a doctor was stationed at my head to pet me all through. There was a time i was feeling both cold and hot at the same time, and he(the doctor stationed at my head) brought in hot towels to warm me and some ice packs to make me comfortable. I felt nauseated at a time, and he brought a bowl for me to vomit, all the while stroking my head to calm me down. I actually went on a tour of the hospital some weeks before i put to bed and i was so impressed. I’ve been telling people i would go back there again and again. Their customer relations is top-notch. They made me so very comfortable.

I'll shut my mouth about the NHS. My Lord! I don't have the time or the inclination to do all of that! In the UK we take everything for granted. I had my two kids at the same hospital and all I have to complain about was the care I received between the white and the black nurses (yes there's a difference but I won't mention who was better or who was worse 🤣🤣🤣). Anyhow, you have birth delivery courses at the hospital (yes, you have weeks and weeks of them preparing you for the birth), you have a tour of the hospital, you get to choose if you want complete natural birth plan, in which case you can book to give birth at the birth centre, no epidural, good luck lol. You can choose a private room but you have to pay for that though. Most of us chose the normal general population, where you can switch from your painful delivery to a blissful epidural. Also you can choose natural birth or c-section, so they prep you weeks in advance if you choose c-section, you'll see the anesthesiologist, they'll check your throat and things to make sure that you'll be okay If things goes wonky and they have to put you under. You also get tested for MRSA. Food is free, hospital stay is free, all you have to do is bring yourself to the hospital, leave your dignity behind, have your baby and pick your dignity at the door when you leave 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I salute all the lovely women who have to do everything you do in Naija just to pop out a baby cos I know if I had to do that, I really don't know how I would've done it 💞💞💞

Me and my elder sister was looking for a good hospital for me and immediately we saw a woman bring out her (life newborn) me and my sister looked at each other and she said this is where you will have your baby and GOD ALMIGHTY took control I had my 2boys there to GOD ALMIGHTY be all the GLORY FOREVER MORE THANK YOU LORD JESUS CHRIST

i have to agree with everyone. you're glowing! i kept starring at you for a minute. i've come to learn that hyped recommendations or popular opinion isn't always the best. and the best ones are usually quiet and unrecommended. those hospitals that did tours. wow! I didn't even know you can do a tour.

Thank God you ran from that Ikoyi clinic oh. I had surgery in Feb,when i watched ur own just same with mine.music was playing,nurses,doctor and anestheics were all smiling and we where talking.For those living in warri in Delta,i recommend Shepard hospital and fertility center at edjeba.

George’s Memorial is a great hospital. I went there for antenatal. They provided the best care for me because I had a high risk pregnancy. Dr Newton was amazing and I finally gave birth at 30weeks. My tiny babies were give the best care and I am glad I used them. They have the most patient nurses, NICU AND SCBU was amazing. Glad I used them. We were all discharged after 4weeks. Although I had the issue with anaesthetic at the hospital. I started feeling the pains but they quickly found out and gave me general anaesthetic quickly. They are a great hospital

Wow! Seems like George's customer service is on point. Thats really sweet coz where I had my Antenatal, I don't think they even cared sef maybe coz I was on HMO coz they treat HMO and Private Paying CLients differently. Also in Ikoyi (RME)

Unprofessionalism on so many levels and a filthy hospital room is dangerous to the mother and fetus. I can’t imagine all the germs and bacteria festering and multiplying in the room. Pregnant women, run from such hospitals. Thank God for safe delivery Sisi. Prayer works
