We took a trip out to the flats off Key West where the water is almost always crystal clear and flat calm! We've taken our boat here before and were always surprised at the abundance of baby sharks swimming around! This time we brought our paddle boards, one fishing rod and some bait in hopes of catching some toothy friends 😳🦈

Nice, I think they are lemon sharks. I always wish I had paddle boards when fishing for them as bigger sharks often come in the same shallows around dusk. Very nice!

I was fishing in the intercoastal near Clearwater last summer with my family and we caught 2 sharks with black tip fins. They were true babies at about 12 inches long. Fun for the grandkids

We don’t set the hook with these saltwater rigs. We wait for the fish to “swallow” it and then reel on it which pulls the hook up places it right in the corner of the mouth.
