Car and marine batteries can get wet cars and ATVs drive-through 4 1/2 5 foot deep water and don’t cut off if they have a snorkel because 12 V electricity works in wet conditions and water. What do you think the rain does when it splashes up under your car when you hit puddles doing 45 miles an hour it gets all over your engine bay.
I don’t think you should be critiquing criticizing or giving opinions if you didn’t know the 12 V batteries can get wet there’s just my opinion and two Cents. Hope Ished knowledge on you.
Oh man I got really tense watching this pond you say looks pretty big for a pond JT you are a brave soul no way would I have stuck around to see a little leak
The lighter the vessel the harder it will be to control in heavy wind. Plus it's shallower than SS Lizzie, so it acts like a raft...and you know how unstable rafts are, lol! Good luck with the second go!
Hiya JT, it's to late now but you should have put the sealant on the threads of the plug that would have sealed it permanently and perfectly but i suppose you live you learn, all the best with the fishing and i wish you tight lines 🐦.
@@marypettyfer4640 thanks Mary, I'm sure that you would be what we refered to in the 90's as a "Geezer bird" meaning a woman who understood and related to men on an actual even level, you are becoming more rare every day and should be protected, seriously though all the best from Eddie Birdie 🐦 😉😍.
JT you were so brave to stay out on the boat for so long. The first sign of even a teaspoon of water in the boat and I would of been straight back on dry land!! Great work in getting the new pump fitted. I'm looking forward to seeing you back out on the water 👍
Great video as always JT. So happy your channels are starting to fly these days! I don't know about boats but couldn't you seal the plug in from the other side? It looks quite damaged? Or do you need to patch the area? Is that hard? Cut a section out and add in a new fiberglass section from a mold or something?.... I know nothing about boats XD !A lso just to add a little to another comment. A lot of the weight on your boat looks to be the wood and is above the water level. Does the boat only needs a little top weight on one side to really swing the center of gravity one way?..... Again, I know nothing about boats! 🧐😂
Dang it JT, if you had bought the larger pump and mounted the discharge tube through the stern it would have been enough to push the boat along against that wind without your trolling motor. But seriously though how fast will the battery run flat if both of those motors are running at full speed and how are you going to recharge it when it does go flat.
Dam JT, that was a serious amount of water in that boat. Don't want it sinking with Maggie in the boat. When it is ready you need to get Anna fishing, we all know she fishes and shoots better than you (LOL) lets see how she does in a boat. 👍👍👍👍👍
Hey, it's the boat that pees! Looks like it was as well you got out when you did, JT, as it wouldn't have just been the wind whipping at your ass - and not just your ass, either...! It's quite a shallow boat, isn't it? That will have an affect on its stability in wind, I guess. Maybe you need to think more about how and where you're going to use this one.
