I'd say blend the salmon so it is usable quicker. Make a water ring of tubing. Use directional reflective lighting for added benefits. Compost a year earlier for supplement. I'm trying Sapporo Giant #4 in my area of the USA.

Wow! ... So they weigh ALL the outside leaves and stem core to the roots , which is way over half the weight? Hmmm, I grew two heads of cabbage way bigger than these, so I'm curious to know just how much the cabbage head itself weighs in these competitions.

Try bokashi or EM1 on that fish to get the best microbes breaking it down. More availability and less bad anaerobic bacteria.

What bread of cabbage are you growing. And is Alaska fish oil any good. And if so could i use it every day on my cabbage. I could not do the fish method like as you i would get a lot of vermin.

@Indie Alaska PLEASE HELP! I know you're not in the business of answering random cabbage questions but I need some help. My daughter brought home a school cabbage around Valentine's Day and it seems to be growing EIGHT HEADS! I grow other things like watermelon and pumpkin but never a cabbage. I've looked online and as far as I can tell cabbages only grow one dense head in the center. My daughters seems to be growing 2 in the middle and 6 around them. Is this normal? Do they eventually combine into one head? Each head is about 2 or 3 inches. I can't seem to find an answer ANYWHERE so your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

If the main bud somehow got clipped, then it would do this. Cabbage always grows several more little heads after the main head is cut off.
