Mr Okuneye had asked for leniency after he pleaded guilty to charges of Naira mutilation filed against him by the anti-graft agency.
He told the court that he was unaware of the laws guiding the use of the Naira and, as such, acted ignorantly.
The crossdresser also promised to use his social media platforms to educate Nigerians on the dangers of naira abuse.
The EFCC earlier during the last proceedings also applied that counts 5 and 6 bordering on money laundering filed against the controversial personality be struck out following an agreement reached with the defendnat to ensure expedition of the case.

Bobrisky is going to jail for the abuse of the Naira currency and he is the first to be tried under this law. The law has been in existence for quite a long time and it was never enforced until now. Has the "Spraying Culture" come to an end in Nigeria? I am waiting to see how many Nigerian citizens will follow. At the same time, a former Governor of the Central Bank, who stole millions of Naira and Dollars belonging to the Country has been granted bail. The irony of fate. God is our only Savior! 🙏🏾

If you put him in male prison there is every tendency that he will engage in sexual activities there.a lot of things are happening in prisons.those guys in their are sexually starving so they are vulnerable to fall for anything,for safety reasons it is not ideal to put him in a male cell
