Two of the best ever. I enjoyed watching Bryan's face as he studied David's playing.

David Grier is a brilliant and understated musician. My favorite tune of his is “Eye of the Hurricane.”

i saw Bryan and Tony Rice do this on the Merlefest Main Stage .. it brought a tear to my eye ... and will never be equaled.. David has some nice licks tho ... ;)

yes it is noodly - I just watched the Tony Rice band doing almost exactly the same, whoever thought 'this would make a really great instrumental' ? The melody is ok but the whole thing becomes kinda pointless if no-one's singing the verses

@@ashersavin7290 yes I love instrumental music - I play fiddle tunes all the time, the ones that don't have words! But if a tune has some great lyrics why not sing them? Dog.

I think it is, but it does seem to get lost in places. As someone said below, a little “noodle”. But as someone else said, “still sounds good”. Great pickers.
