Dude, gone for 6 months is crazy. I thought I had it bad being gone for 1 month in France for work. System didn't crash but I lost my Powder Blue Tang and my Ritteri Anemone. Glad things are back to a good spot.

My Tank was tbe very same. Dino,cyanobacteria then loads of hair algae. My method was keep it stable and let it burn its self out. Takes time but patience is key 🔑. Light at the end of the tunnel 😊 My tank is now purple and looking on point at 2 years 😊
Kh ~9, Ca 430, Mg 1300, Nitrates ~5 ppm, Phosphates ~0.06. I does kalkwasser, 2 part, and add nitrates and phosphate supplements if i see the nutrients go lower
Did you ran refugium while dosing fluconazole. Did you found any raise in phosphates after the turf algae started dying. If yes how did you managed that high phosphates im pretty sure you would have been reading zero phosphates before fluconazole treatment
No fuge. Surprisingly - I didn’t get a spike in nutrients. I did dose a bacterial product - microbacter clean - st the start of the fluconazole treatment and I think that helped with consuming the nutrient from the die off
I think it is readily available in the US. In Canada, i ordered from Big Show Frags - labelled under 'bryopsis treatment" (or in theory yon can pick anti-fungal tables in the feminine products section of a pharmacy - just read the ingredients and make sure its only fluconazole
