Dear Liam. Every time I watch this wonderful man play this song tears run down my face. There is so much emotion when he plays this song, his whole body vibrates. I love this beautiful, humble man who puts his heart out for the people when he plays. He surely belongs on a huge stage on National TV. Many people are simply not in touch with themselves spiritually. So when they hear this kind of music is does not resonate and neither does the man playing the music. Unfortunately the world we live in programs our mind and heart We must continuously practice being present and mindful and when we do we connect deeply with nature, being healthy and within. This beautiful music and the focus is best on those the fo recognize this beauty and not on those who do not.

It's really sad listening to this music, it's like he's telling us what was done to his people, the natives! We Americans don't make war, governments do... we, the people of this country are sick to death of reaching around the world to stop the carnage that others are bringing to your part of the world. We are doing what millions around the world want to do.. we are struggling with the moral implications as we send our sons and daughters into war torn nations. We are peaceful people who, as I am sure you are, want to live in peace... to not send our children into war to die on foreign soil for people who don't even want us there. We love our country and I have to believe that you want the same things we do... to raise our children in peace and not to ever have to send them off to war again. I really feel I was a native Indian in my past life. I been drawn to this culture since a little kid. Pocahontas touched my soul. Listening to this resonates deeply. Ever since I first heard Alexandro's music, I have been studying our American Indian, Native American, First Nation culture... We as American's, transplants from Europe, have much to be ashamed of in our treatment of these peaceful people. What I have been reading is not what has been taught to us, our children or our grandchildren but a fabrication to justify why they came here and confiscated and stole from those who inhabited these lands for thousands of years. It is my prayer that we find a way to elevate our First Nation citizens and restore as much as we can what was taken from them in such a brutal and unlawful manner... I stand with our First Nation water protectors and I stand with them to restore them to a place of honor ... It's the least we can do considering how brutal our ancestors were in overtaking North America. It's hard to absorb some days .. the sheer brutality of their existence was unimaginable...
