FYI, just because Dedman says the Superlight doesn't fit his hand doesn't mean it's a bad mouse. There's no single best mouse for everyone because everyone has different hand/finger sizes and shapes. There are also aftermarket sticker pads made for many popular mice in case you don't like their out-of-factory texture.

Gonna be a long read, sorry. But why the hell not, it's 3am and I'm bored. I've been gaming for over 10 years (mostly FPS: CS:GO/Valorant) and I've used so many different mice throughout the years. My very first gaming mouse was the Razer Deathadder, and I loved the shape, size and weight of it - worked well for my palm grip with big hands and was light but have enough to allow for the best control. I went from that to the G502 Proteus Core. It was a bit heavier, but I didn't mind it. One thing that I loved about it was the trigger/sniper button. I never used it to downshift my DPI, but rather used it to always quickswitch from my AWP to my knife and back, or in general, switch between my primary and melee or even just for melee attacks in some other FPS games that would allow it. This would be the single most wanted feature in a mouse I would look for. I then got the G502 Proteus Spectrum, but it's basically the same story. Afterwards, I tried out the Corsair Harpoon and Logitech G305, which were my first ever wireless mice. I tried both of them because they had different shapes, but I ended up liking the Harpoon better because of the higher butt. In the end, I returned both of them because they kept having connectivity issues. Now, I get the Razer Basilisk Ultimate. It has the higher butt + thumb trigger, but the weight was the problem. After trying out the Harpoon and G503, I wanted a lightweight wireless mouse. So I got the Viper Ultimate. It was phenomenal. But, no thumb trigger. It had a higher butt and it was a great fit for the palm grip I have been used to. But due to the lack of the thumb trigger, it wasn't 100% perfect. "But all these mice you listed have 2 side buttons, why not use those?" I always used the back side button to switch over to my secondary/pistol quickly without having to let go of my WASD keys to switch to my pistol, which was a mechanic I could never let go of. Same reason why I don't use the number keys to quick switch. Using the front side button was also a no go, as it would be placed too high up which would hinder flicks or overall fast mouse movements as my control of the mouse would be lower, as my thumb would be higher up. So, the Glorious Model I comes out. And it's trash. It was what I had been looking for in a mouse for 7 years at this point. Side buttons, thumb trigger, big profile AND IT WAS LIGHTWEIGHT! WHAT A BREAKTHROUGH! no. The Glorious Model I was so ergonomically terrible. The 3 side buttons would portrude so much to the pointit would get in the way of my thumb placement and I would accidentally press on some buttons. It was also pushed back because it has 3 which would make my thumb bend weirdly enough. The thumb trigger was also so close to the middle, rather than further back which would make me position my thumb in more of a claw grip, which was really uncomfortable. So I returned that lmao After looking for a bit on Amazon, I find the SteelSeries Aerox 5. Lightweight, side buttons, some weird flick button, and A THUMB TRIGGER. Sure, the TrueMove Air sensor is a rebrand of some other older sensor, but I didn't care - I barely notice the difference anyways. The sensor was also a little bit more to the bottom of the mouse, which made wrist movements a bit weird and had to adjust. But let me tell you about this mouse. It was as light as the Viper Ultimate and had the same ergonomic shape comparable to a slimmer Basilisk Ultimate, and had a thumb trigger pushed back further down the mouse so that I wouldn't accidentally click on it. The side buttons don't get in the way at all either and leaves me with an extra front side button to use for something niche in a game. The flick button, I don't really use in-game, but I set it to page up and page down which I use when browsing some webpages and don't want to use the scrollwheel lmao In any case, after 10 years, the SteelSeries Aerox 5 was the perfect mouse for me in every way shape and form. I ended up returning it and shelled out $100 more for the wireless version (I'm in Canada so prices are screwed up 😅) and have been living it ever since. Have sold all my other mice and will keep staying with the Aerox 5 lineup until the day I can no longer game. TL;DR: after 7 years of trying out several different mice with different profiles and button layouts, I settled with the SteelSeries Aerox 5 Wireless because of button placement and thumb trigger button.

I use the Viper Ultimate Pro V2 as a GPX alternative. It's the best mouse I've ever used, period. I'd also like to try the Lamzu Atlantis, I heard that's an amazing mouse too.

I on the other hand swapped from Viper Mini to GPX and i cant describe how much i love the GPX, such an amazing mouse

finally got my death adder v3 holy hell this thing is light as a feather and is perfect size i use to hate the grooves but the new shape is money.

Maybe a g502 lightspeed, the special mousepad for it can charge it too, bit heavy with all the weights in, and if you don't mind wired the g502 hero is like 3 times less

Personal suggestions: hyperx pulsfire haste It gets everything in one mouse it can drag click looks good and it’s really really light (56 for the wired and 62 for wireless)

I love experimenting with different mousepads but finding anything better than GPX seems like a daunting task. I wish there were a store where I could test a bunch before buying.

If you want a comfortable mouse i recommend the Razer Basilisk V3. It is the most comfy mouse i've ever used. IDK about weight cause it isn't really a problem to me. Though if you want a wireless one I'd recommend the Razer Basilisk Ultimate, yes it's a bit pricey (well pricey being an understatementbatleast for me) but it's wireless it is very cimfortable with a thumbrest and very comfortable buttons just like the v3.

The Glorious Model D has been comfortable. Specially since I use an MX Master for productivity. Makes the transition a lot better

I think the Roccat kone pro air or kone pro are some of the best options for an all around good mouse and if your worried about clicks then don’t because it gets up to 140 cps

I think you'd love the new g303 shroud it's so comfortable if your hands are big. It takes a day to adjust because the sensor is in a different spot than normal, after that it's king.

It's my main lol. I went from the deathadder v2 wired to the v2 x hyperspeed and honestly I love it. As someone who doesn't care a crap ton about rgb, it's perfect.

Im saving up for the viper ultimate since my brother bought it and i tried it and loved it, size n shape fits my hand grip pretty well

I've had the same mouse for a few months and I really like it so far. The aa batteries last a very long time and I like disposable batteries more than rechargable ones. Li-ion batteries eventually go bad, aas are meant to be replaced.
