Wow look what I was able to grab on todays trash picking episode! Follow me on instagram @Taco_Stacks Send me mail if you would like! Taco Stacks PO BOX 184 STOCKERTOWN, PA 18083-0184
Wow! Really nice of basketball guy to let you know about the lawn tractor! Glad you picked up the crate of jars! The checked jar is old too! Someone will want those jars!!
Looks like those tops to the blue jars have porcelain on top inside, and check on the bottom of the glass for numbers 10 and especially the number 13. It was a thing in the early 19th century to smash the number 13’s for good luck, so they are harder to find…awesome haul, Taco! 🌮 🦮😊
I took two wicker chairs that I found at the landfill to the car wash, then I spray painted them. I was offered 50.00 for the rocker but I kept both chairs.
The wicker!!😭😭😩 … something I would grab , it looked to be in decent shape, usually only see terribly broken up pieces. Oh well!🥲 The box of jars was good. I always look for the blue ones, and love picking up the waffle grid ones. Collections of buttons, marbles, vintage sewing stuff or stones look great in them. I’d only recycle clear no name jars. It’s always interesting what you pick up AND leave behind! Have a great weekend🌺
I have old wicker of 20 yrs bought from yardsale for $30 all i do every few yrs is spray paint and new cushions 1x. They never go out of style and i can get my $30 back today if i wanted to.
Anchor Hocking Wexford Glass Bowl goes for around $25 here. Some people love the older stuff since it was made well. Wicker furniture. In my opinion people use the wrong kind of paint on that stuff. Baked in the sun, it chips and peels just like a house with latex paint on it.
Taco good stuff today. I think you should've picked up the 3 piece. Retain set everybody's right about taking it to the car. Wash in spray and everything off. Insell it naked or repainted for some dollars. Oh, well, somebody else will get it another day. Another dollar, you're so Hard-headed, Sometimes LO LLO L give salsa a hug. Take her for a walk, she's lonely.😊😊😊😊😊
Hi Taco Stacks! I am each day. This is not a complaint but just asking. When you are looking at what to pk up or not. Would u pls show what you are passing. I for One would like to see what is in the boxes. Ty so much happy hunting🙏☺️
I can understand not wanting to get the paint flakes all over you stuff for just a $5 item. The planter might have sold well. They do very well at auctions around here. Or you could plant some mint in one. Mint is nice for drinks in the summer and you never want to turn it loose in your yard. All the best.
The original BAll jars are worth something I can't remember and yes the colored jars are worth something too and that tractor you got is worth a lot not bad a shape..
Oh you passed up a deal .. leaving the wicker furniture , could have taken a wire grill brush over it quick and got off the flakey paint and sold a flea market for $50-$75.00for the set ..I would have bought it , and painted it split the chairs and Put in the corner of a bedroom or put the set in a Florida room ..👍🏼👍🏼😄Skelly
People will buy those canning jars, esp now with a lot of vegetable gardens. It is cheaper to grow your own food! Good finds TS! You need a loading dock with a ramp! Lots of good trash picking! Take it easy, drink your water and stay cool!🙏💖✝️
Taco stacks! Taco stacks! Taco stacks! For the win of the day!!!! Thanks for taking us along!!! I appreciate you! Basket ball guy really came through with that tractor! So cool to have great friends! Allot of stuff saved today! Stay safe stay great and keep up the good work!!!
if you have a lot of grass your going to enjoy it we have 3 lots my husband bought his Dads when his mom and Dad became snow birds he loves it our son used to come mow for his Dad but he got married so they are busy which is ok.
Hi Taco. Wicker can go either way. Wicker is very popular but sometimes needs to be perfect for some.Buyers. nice finds and nice saving stuff from the landfills. Thanks for the fun,the ride and the conversarion.Hugs for Salsa. Love ya.
You don't sand wicker stuff you just paint over it I would have taken all that wicker it goes for a lot here go price some of that wicker furniture you'll git a shock I don't know bout around your area but mine yah a lot..
The wicker also looked mouldy. Unless you can pressure spray it all with a mould inhibitor, it will always grow mould. Certainly not worth the trouble. Horrible furniture anyway. Idea of the loading ramp is great. Its a "gunna" project, as in going to do it. I have a lot of those😊.
