Wow! Wow! Wow! These boots are SEXY! The Lucchese Original Bannock Black Cherry Roper 10" Goat 1" Heel Toe R Heel R Instagram: @cjcookofficial Twitter: @CJCook20 Email: triplestitch3340@gmail.com
I just got my Lucchese ostrich leather in black cherry roper. The color is so beautiful. Thank you for helping me finding my right size on your previous video. I am glad I got it too. I need to learn how to style them up with my jeans and t-shirt.
I am originally from Long Island, moved down here to South Texas 35 years ago. I wear work boots every day, rotating through Iron Rangers, Red wing Exolites, and an old pair of Ariat Wellington pull on boots. When I'm going out on the town, I have two pair of Lucchese's to choose from. The original 1883's and a Goat skin Roper in black Cherry. Looking to purchase the black calfskin Roper next.
Lucchese has several lines of boots, Lucchese Classics being the highest quality which is probably what you have in your hands. So those would come with boot bags etc. At least here in Texas, Lucchese ropers or Lucchese western boots in black cherry are probably the most popular color around. They are damn slick and comfortable boots to walk in. I am sure in NYC, not many people will have a pair like yours. The goat skins used by Lucchesse are usually sourced from Sevilla, Spain.
@@CJCook Roper boots are the best if you're into wearing cowboy boots they're so comfortable and stylish also the leather shaft doesn't cut into your leg shin flesh like the regular tall cowboy boots dies when you wear"em
Maybe redwing will get smart and give you boots to review after seeing these other brand boots in your videos. I have purchase about 10 boots just because seeing your videos. I prob dont get to wear them like i would like but i have them!
maybe one day when i have a good career or a stable job i will get some Lucchese black cherry boots. It's on my wishlist. size 11 D in round toe or size 10.5 D in square toe
@@CJCook I got the Livingston. Its a tan suede and I just got the normal leather sole with it. Has the 7 toe and the 4 heel. I had to get it custom made to a B width cause I got narrow feet.
@@CJCook Well they're still being made so I haven't got to see them in person yet. They should be done in a week or so but I hope they're a little lighter in person than the pictures. I got some iron rangers in the muleskinner color. I'm hoping they'll be a similar color to those! 🤠
I think you should use Brian the bootmaker at role club to resole a pair of boots that would be a good collaboration between you two. Also, I use a pair of Nick's for work and I think any pair of Nick's would blow you away. I am torn between a moc toe from redwing and a pair of Nick's travelers for my next pair.
Great review. Lucchese boots are great. They have a great shop here in San Antonio. A must visit when you come down here. Love the red wing reviews as well. I am up 6 pairs. It is quite addicting.
Very sharp.I saw some goatskin at horsetown in Georgia and I'm thinking they were luchesse s.That was going to be my next purchase in luchesse or the suede.im thinking they were a cream color and like you said very comfotable.Enjoy that great color black cherry.
@@CJCook Hey CJ, I just picked up a pair of the lucchese suede boots from horsetown/cavendars in ga last week. I believe they r called livingstons and have the hard insole like redwing to mold to foot over time. Can't wait to break in the soles and the suede is already soft due to the distressed style. Cheers.
Hey man, I know you don’t buy too many other brands but wolverine is selling a collab with METALLICA 1000 mile boot. Looks pretty sick. I just preordered them.
As a South Texan now living in Austin, the way this dude says Lucchese is killing me haha. Before everyone @s me I know that is the correct Italian pronunciation but its not the correct Texan pronunciation
My daddy stepped off the boat from Sicily in 1956. He arrived in Brooklyn when he was 18, couldn't speak a word of english. He learned English quickly to fit in and make a living but never taught us Italian. I am sure that Mr. Sam Lucchese didn't care how the farmers and ranchers of South Texas pronounced his name as long as they purchased his boots!
CJ Cook please do a review an them! Their SIGNATURE CRAFTSMAN CHELSEA BOOT has a elegant chiseled toe style thats really eye catching! Thank you for your reply.
When you go to Texas, Austin must be one the list. Several bespoke boot makers there - very expensive, but some the very best available. Tacovas is in Austin too. (Lucchese quality at half the price.) BTW, Lucchese is pronounced lu-Kay-see or lu-k-c.
That would be dangerous all those boot makers! I need to saving my $$ Salvatore Lucchese was from Italy. I speak Italian. I am pronouncing it correctly.
That toe and cracks stuff (15:56) never happened to me. As I watched the video, I was kind of clowning you. I thought you must have some bad ass luck or just suck at walking. Then the next day: karma! Out on a walk in a nice, well-paved street in San Francisco, a friggin' gap in the sidewalk took a chip out of the tip of my new 9060s! Seriously, less than twelve hours after I watched your video and after a lifetime of that never happening to me. What are the chances?! And I don't even have bad ass luck or suck at walking like you! ;)
I have a pair of these in tan and one in black and they are absolutely gorgeous boots! I'm selling the black pair because they are two narrow for me. If someone is interested in a pair in 8.5B shoot me a message!
